Research On Evaluation Of Port Development In China

With the rapid development of China’s port industry,cargo throughput and growth rate have occupied the forefront of the world,port development has been paid more and more attention by the state and government.China is a big country of import and export trade,and its mode of international trade cargo transportation is mainly by sea.As the central hub of transportation industry,port occupies an important position in the economic and social development of our country.At present,our country is already a big port country,but there is still a certain gap compared with the port power,it is very urgent to improve the development level of the port and realize the advance from the port power to the port power,so it is necessary to carry out in-depth research on the port development level.Firstly,according to the previous research,combined with the characteristics of the port to construct the index system,and then select the data of 8 ports in China in 2017,using the evaluation value minimum gap maximization combined empowerment model to calculate the weight of the index and the comprehensive score of each port.Through empirical analysis,the strongest comprehensive strength is Ningbo Zhoushan Port,followed by Guangzhou Port,Qingdao Port,Tianjin Port,Tangshan Port,Jinzhou Port,Rizhao Port,Zhanjiang Port,and the key factors affecting the development level of the port are determined,including the length of port berths,the number of port berths,the turnover rate of accounts receivable,the profit rate of cost and expense,and the throughput of port containers.Finally,some suggestions are put forward to strengthen the financial analysis and management ability of the port,strengthen the infrastructure construction,expand the port scale,improve the throughput,and strengthen the business ability.According to the results of empirical analysis,some suggestions are put forward,which provide scientific basis and direction for improving port development level.
