As the basic support and premise of tourism,transportation plays an increasingly prominent role in promoting and developing tourism,and the integrated development of transportation and tourism emerged at the historic moment.Xinjiang is rich in tourism resources,but transportation is inconvenient and the development is relatively slow.The integrated development of transportation and tourism will become a new trend in the transformation and development of the transportation and tourism industries,as well as a new growth point for the transportation and tourism industries to seek greater benefits.Based on the analysis of this article,this paper aims at the actual situation of the development of Xinjiang’s transportation and tourism industry and the current policy orientation and combines Xinjiang’s 2019 demonstration project of integrated development of transportation and tourism.This paper comprehensively applies multiple disciplines to carry out in-depth research on the integrated development of transportation and tourism in Xinjiang.Based on a systematic analysis of the development status of the transportation industry and tourism industry in China and Xinjiang,and the judgment of the new development trend of the two,this paper first summarizes the constraints that have been revealed in the current integration of transportation and tourism in Xinjiang.Moreover,this paper also studies and puts forward the development mode,train of thought,and path that conforms to the actual situation of Xinjiang.Secondly,this paper summarizes the national,industry,and regional levels of transportation and tourism integration development policies grasps the policy-oriented system,and lays the foundation for the effective use of sufficient policies for transportation and tourism integration development projects.On this basis,the current policy support gaps are analyzed,and relevant recommendations for policy support are proposed.Finally,this paper combines the policy guidance and the idea of integrated development of transportation and tourism suitable for the actual situation of Xinjiang,taking the S21 Altay-Urumqi Expressway project as an example to analyze the basic conditions for the S21 Altay-Urumqi Expressway project to promote the integration of transportation and tourism.And use the gravitational model method to predict the market tourist scale and consumption characteristics of the regions and destinations along with the project.In addition,the cost method and the market method are used to evaluate and analyze the value of resources along with the project and compare the relationship between the profit of tourism development and construction and the cost of road construction and development.On this basis,put forward the implementation ideas and countermeasures of transportation investment enterprises in the practice of integrated transportation and tourism development projects.This paper focuses on the implementation ideas and countermeasures and puts forward a case study of the overall design concept of the integrated development of transportation and tourism and the key building of important nodes in the service area and the idea of industrial upgrading.In addition,based on the characteristics of the integrated development project of transportation and tourism,this paper also proposes that transportation investment enterprises take the opportunity of constructing transportation construction projects as an opportunity to cooperate with local governments to form a benign and win-win development direction and path.
