Urban signalized intersection is the intersection of all kinds of traffic participants,with complex traffic conditions,frequent traffic jams and conflicts.In recent years,with the rapid growth of the number of e-bikes,the traffic conflicts and traffic accidents involving e-bikes have gradually increased.The unsafe driving behavior of E-bike riders has a great negative impact on the normal order of urban traffic,especially at the intersection of mixed traffic flow.Therefore,it is very important to study the crossing behavior of electric bicycle riders at signalized intersections.According to the internal rules and influencing factors of the crossing,we can effectively put forward suggestions for traffic improvement to effectively ensure the traffic safety at signalized intersections.In our research,6 typical signal intersections in Xi’an are selected,and 2036 effective samples are obtained through field investigation,experiment design and video shooting in a reasonable period of time.On this basis,using Excel and SPSS statistical software to analyze the collected data of electric bicycle riders’ crossing behavior at signalized intersections,the overall distribution and violation distribution of the samples are obtained,and the overall violation rate of the samples is 39.6%.The distribution of violation rate and the difference of crossing behavior of different classification samples are analyzed,including the distribution of waiting position,crossing speed,crossing gap selection and endurance time.The main results are as follows: the violation rate of male riders is higher than that of female riders,the endurance time is shorter,the choice of crossing gap is smaller,the waiting position is closer to the motorway,and the risk-taking behavior is obvious;the rules of young riders’ crossing behavior are roughly the same as those of middle-aged and old riders,cargo riders’ crossing behavior compared with those of manned and empty riders.Then factor analysis is used to reduce the dimension of the influencing factors,and six common factors are obtained.A decision-making model of riders’ crossing behavior based on logit model is established to evaluate the effect of each factor,and the overall fitting effect is good.It can be concluded that the signal factor,vehicle factor and arrival time factor have more influence on riders’ crossing decision-making.At last,the influence of signal lamp type on riders’ crossing behavior is analyzed by means of variance analysis.It can be concluded that the traffic violation rate of static signalized intersection is much higher than that of countdown signalized intersection.Based on the above research,this paper puts forward some suggestions for improving the management of E-bike,in order to help the traffic management of urban signalized intersections. |
