E-bike riders are prone to traffic conflicts with motor vehicles at intersections due to frequent traffic violation behaviors. However, the development of traffic conflicts to a certain degree will become traffic accidents. Therefore,it is necessary to conduct research on the impact of electrical riders’ violations on traffic conflicts between e-bike and motor vehicle, and to conduct a deeper psychological analysis of the main violation behaviors of the riders who caused the conflict.First of all, different plane signalized intersections in the city are used as the survey locations, and the method of video shooting is used to investigate the traffic conflicts. In this paper,TTC is selected as the discriminating index of conflict. The 85%-bit cumulative frequency analysis method is used to distinguish the severity of conflicts and get the criterion,it is considered that when TTC> 2.50 s is traffic interference;1.20 s <TTC≤2.50 s is a general conflict;0 <TTC≤1.20 s is a serious conflict. In the process of identifying conflicts, the violation riding behaviors of the electric bicycle that caused this conflict is recorded synchronously.Observation and verification showed that the three main violations are parking outside the stop line, signal violation and occupying motorway. Therefore, these major violations were selected for psychological analysis. This paper takes theory of planned behavior as the basic research framework, and expands the theory according to the violation behaviors and psychological characteristics of the riders. After adding four variables: travel cost, travel environment, past behavior, and risk perception on the basis of the original theory,an initial hypothetical model of the rider’s psychology-violation behaviors is obtained by assuming the influence relationship of various variables. The questionnaire is designed according to the initial model, and the items of the questionnaire are used as observation variables to reflect the variables existing as latent variables in the model. Then, after introducing the survey data by constructing the structural equation model, the initial hypothesis model was fitted, analyzed and verified, and then the final model is obtained by correction.According to the analysis of model path coefficients and latent variable utility values, the direct utility, indirect utility and total utility of each psychological influence factor on violation intention and actual violation behavior can be obtained respectively.Among them, perceived behavioral control has the highest direct utility value for violation intentions, which is a key influencing factor;Past behavior has the highest total utility value for violation intentions, which is also a factor in the critical path that affects violation intentions. The violation intention has the highest direct utility value for actual violation behavior;Past behavior has the highest total utility value for actual violation behavior;Violation intentions, past behavior, and perceived behavioral control are factors that affect the critical path of actual violation behavior. Finally, the research results will be implemented.Through the utility analysis and psychological interpretation of various factors, targeted countermeasures that can reduce the occurrence of violation behaviors can be proposed, with a view to reducing the number of traffic conflicts between electric bicycles and motor vehicles caused by riders’ violation behaviors. |
