This article first based on the principle analysis of the components in the environmentally friendly composite snowmelt salt(EFCSS)composition,the main components were selected and the optimal ratio of the components was analyzed.Finally,the influence of the preparation process on the performance and gradation of the EFCSS was explored to determine the best preparation process.With the traditional chloride salt snow-melting deicing agent as a control,the properties of the EFCSS were studied by the ice melting ability test,thermal stability test,slow-release performance test,metal corrosion test,plant growth test and water body impact test.Using asphalt penetration meter,force elongation meter,Brinell viscometer and bending beam rheometer(BBR),the effect of different EFCSS content on asphalt mortar performance was analyzed.Through the rutting test,trabecular bending test,freeze-thaw splitting test and immersion Marshall test of asphalt mixture,the influence of EFCSS content on the road performance of asphalt mixture was discussed.According to the test results,the optimal blending amount of environmentally friendly composite snowmelt salt in the mixture is proposed.The short-term and long-term deicing and snow removal performance of the EFCSS asphalt mixture was investigated by the bonding pull test to determine the optimal blending amount of the EFCSS.It is beneficial to the application and promotion of the environmentally friendly composite snowmelt salt.The results show that EFCSS had good ice melting ability,heat resistance and slow release effect.The corrosion of this kind of salt to metal was only 1/4 of that of sodium chloride,and its effect on plant growth was far less than that of traditional chlorine salt deicing agent.Moreover,the addition of EFCSS had a certain impact on the performance of asphalt mixture.EFCSS could significantly reduce the bond strength of ice asphalt pavement and maintain the long-term snow melting performance.However,these effects decayed rapidly in the first three periods of the simulation.The lower the temperature,the more obvious the attenuation.When the replacement rate of EFCSS exceeded 50%,the bond strength reduction effect of EFCSS on ice asphalt mixture could be maintained for 4 to 5 cycles.Considering the cost and service life,it was recommended that the replacement rate of the self-made snow melting salt compound was 75%,and the applicable minimum temperature was-16 ℃.
