The glue application process is one of the most common and important processes for assembly of automotive parts.At present,part of work applying sealant is still manually performed by workers.The manual glue application production efficiency is low.And some positions unconfirmed with requirements of occupational health and safety system.In order to solve these problems,automatic glue application has gradually become a trend in process.With demand for cost reduction in lean management,LCA(low-cost automated)glue machine came into being.Good product design should realize function of product.In past mechanical design,although product has good function and quality,most of these products are not ideal in appearance,and they are also not ergonomic,so the operation and experience are not user-friendly,and it is difficult to meet actual needs.LCA glue application machine of this subject combines linear interpolation and circular interpolation to realize glue application of various specifications of work pieces.When designing products,fully consider ergonomics,psychology and other design elements in industrial design,and it is not only meets actual production cycle but also allows workers to have a good user experience.The improvement of productivity makes people pay more attention to "beauty","convenience","comfort","safety","health" and other aspects of products while enjoying material life.Since post-90 s are the main force of factory workers,the new generation of employees have stronger innovation capabilities and have higher requirements for their work environment.they have to face various equipment for up to 8-10 hours every day,so this subject tries to incorporate some other elements into initial design,so that workers will not be too boring when facing equipment.This subject has been studied through field observation methods,comparative research methods,3D modeling and ergonomics,and designed a complete set of automatic mechanisms including glue application mechanism,man-machine lifting mechanism and external frame,man-machine interactive interface and teach pendant.The gluing system is applied to production after being assembled and manufactured in company’s internal tool shop and commissioned on site,which solves practical problems and it has great significance.
