Research On New Building Design Strategy In Waterfront Historical Area

The renewal of historical waterfronts is a hotspot for the construction of many cities in China and the world at present.These historical sites are located in different locations,but there are common contradictions between protection and development,and they face the limitations of single or unscientific ideas for renewal.Facing the existing problems of renewal of the historical waterfront,this thesis is based on the three elements of the natural environment,historical environment,and human environment of the historical waterfront,through the study of related theories and specific cases,from the principles and specific design.Two aspects of the method,analyze and summarize the strategy of new building design in the historical waterfront,emphasizing that through the design processing methods at the city level,the plot level and the building level,while achieving coordination with the surrounding environment,it also meets the new building’s own functions And space requirements.The thesis takes the actual project——Plot 07-1 of Binjiang Dajiang Road Area in Nanjing as an example,and discusses the application of the design strategy in the actual project.The thesis is divided into two parts.The first part is a text discussion part,and the second part is the design text of the 07-1 plot of the Xiaguan Binjiang Dama Road area in Nanjing.The main contents of the last chapter are as follows:Chapter 1 is an introduction,which introduces the research background of the thesis in terms of macro and actual projects,the current status of research on urban renewal,new building design in historical areas along the waterfront at home and abroad,and the research objects,content,meaning,and research methods of the paper.And dissertation organization.Chapter 2 is the theoretical research,starting with the constituent elements of the historical waterfront,after analyzing the existing problems of the renewal of the historical waterfront in China,the theoretical research related to the natural environment,historical environment,and human environment is used to obtain the waterfront.The updated design focus of the water historical area is also the attitude and principle of the new building design in the waterfront historical area in response to the surrounding environment.Chapter 3 is a case study and strategy summary.The typical practical cases that are coordinated with the natural environment,historical environment,and human environment in the design of new buildings in the waterfront historical area are selected.By analyzing these case design methods,it corresponds to Chapter 2.The summarized attitude principles for responding to the surrounding environment are summarized and the specific design methods for realizing these attitude principles are summarized.The attitude principles and specific design methods for the new building’s response to the environment constitute the new building design strategy for the historical waterfront.Chapter 4 is the application of the design strategy.The new building design strategy of the historical waterfront area obtained in chapter 3 is applied to the design of the 07-1 parcel in the Dajiang Road area of the Binjiang Riverside,Nanjing.After design background research,site condition analysis,and Compare multiple plans and deepen the design of the selected plan to get the final design results.Chapter 5 is the conclusion.After summarizing the conclusions of the dissertation on the new building design in the historical waterfront,it also points out the existing deficiencies and the future prospects.Through the construction of the theoretical framework and the analysis of the classic cases,the thesis summarizes the strategies for the design of new buildings in the historical waterfront and applies them to actual projects in order to provide a reference for related practical projects.
