Study On The Behavioral Intentions Of Public Rainwater Collection And Utilization And Its Influencing Factors

As the process of urbanization accelerates and the degree of industrialization increases,environmental problems such as the greenhouse effect and urban heat island effect are coming one after another.The problems of water scarcity and water pollution are particularly prominent.The reuse of rainwater,sewage and other resources has gradually attracted attention from all countries.In particular,some developed countries have focused their efforts on the collection and utilization of rainwater in the last century.Relatively speaking,the research on rainwater collection and utilization in my country started relatively late,the urban rainwater utilization management system is not sound,and a complete legal system for urban rainwater utilization has not been established.The development of urban rainwater utilization is slow,and the public’s willingness to accept reuse projects is determined by the government.It is necessary to implement policies such as rainwater reuse.Therefore,studying the public’s willingness to accept rainwater collection and utilization is the prerequisite and basis for promoting rainwater collection and utilization.The paper takes Shanghai as an example of a water-deficient area,to investigate and understand the current situation of rainwater collection and utilization in Shanghai;based on a technically acceptable model,construct a public rainwater collection and utilization behavior willingness model,and use interview-style questionnaires to assess the public’s perception of rainwater collection and utilization in Shanghai.Conduct investigations on the level of knowledge and behavioral willingness;study the influencing factors of public rainwater collection and utilization behavioral willingness from environmental psychology and social statistics;propose policy suggestions to improve public rainwater collection and utilization behavioral willingness,with a view to promoting rainwater collection and utilization in Shanghai Provide a certain degree of reference basis.The main research conclusions of the thesis are reflected in the following aspects:1.Investigate Shanghai,summarize and analyze the current characteristics of rainwater collection and utilization in Shanghai.The survey results found that Shanghai has great potential for rainwater,but the current rainwater collection and utilization rate is low.The units involved in rainwater collection and utilization are mainly enterprises,accounting for half of the total,followed by communities and schools,and government agencies and public places are the least.Unit scale(water consumption,floor space,etc.)has a decisive influence on the amount of rainwater collection,and most rainwater collection and utilization facilities were built after 2010.Most rainwater pools and rainwater tanks are used.The rainwater purification process of most units is simple,but the utilization rate is high,and rainwater is mainly reused for green irrigation,ground washing,and landscape water supply.2.Based on the technical acceptance model,construct a public rainwater collection and utilization behavior willingness model.On the basis of the technical acceptance model,the original factors of environmental psychology(perceived usefulness,perceived ease of use,attitude and behavior willingness)are retained,and expansion factors of environmental psychology(subjective perception,perceived risk,social trust,technical environment)are introduced And social influence)and social psychology factors(gender,age,education level,income,number of years in Shanghai,whether you have used rainwater and whether you or someone close to you are engaged in the environmental industry),construct a public rainwater collection and utilization behavior willingness model,and design Questionnaire,conducted interview-style questionnaire surveys in downtown Shanghai,from Environmental psychology and social statistics analyze the influencing factors of public behavior willingness,enrich the technical acceptance model,explain the influence mechanism of public rainwater collection and utilization behavior willingness more comprehensively,and optimize the traditional technical acceptance model structure.3.Using the structural equation model,calculate and analyze the influence of environmental psychology factors on the public’s willingness to collect and use rainwater.The results show that the public rainwater collection and utilization model constructed by the thesis is feasible,and the public in Shanghai has a good level of awareness of rainwater collection and utilization.More than 80% of the interviewees indicated that rainwater collection and utilization are acceptable;usage attitude,technical environment and society Trust is the most important environmental psychology influencing factor of the public’s willingness to collect and use rainwater,and it has a positive and direct significant impact on the behavior willingness;perceived usefulness,perceived ease of use,social influence,perceived risk and subjective perception are the public’s perception of rainwater significant influence on the willingness to behave.4.Calculate and analyze the influence of social statistical factors on environmental psychology factors,discuss the influence of social statistical factors on public rainwater collection and utilization attitudes and other aspects,and obtain the most significant social statistical factors that affect public rainwater collection and utilization behavior willingness.The results show that women are more enthusiastic about rainwater collection and utilization than men;low-income respondents have the most positive attitude toward rainwater collection and utilization;age,rainwater use experience,and whether or not they or close people are engaged in the environmental industry It has a certain degree of positive influence on the environmental psychology factors of rainwater collection and utilization(except behavior willingness);and the educational level and the number of years in Shanghai have a certain degree of influence on the environmental psychology factors(except behavior willingness)of rainwater collection and utilization.The negative impact.In addition,income,education level,age and(whether)working in the environmental industry have the most significant impact on the public’s willingness to collect and use rainwater.Among them,income level and working in the environmental industry have the most significant influence on the respondents’ willingness to collect and use rainwater.There is a significant negative impact,and education level and age have a significant positive impact on the behavioral willingness to collect and use rainwater.5.Put forward policy recommendations to improve the public’s attitude and willingness to promote rainwater collection and utilization,and promote
