Research On Cultural Landscape Characteristics Of Traditional Villages In Dongguan City

Dongguan City is one of the birthplaces of Lingnan culture.With its advantageous geographical location and rich natural resources,it is very conducive to the development of agricultural production.It is a famous land of fish and rice in the Pearl River Delta.Therefore,the traditional villages have a large number,wide distribution,many types and rich cultural heritage.The traditional villages in Dongguan mainly include the villages rated as "Chinese traditional villages" and "Guangdong traditional villages".Based on the analysis of the natural environment of the village,this paper refines the elements of cultural landscape,analyzes its hierarchical structure,analyzes the layout characteristics of settlement space relying on different types of cultural landscape,and summarizes the construction principles of different types of cultural landscape.The elements of cultural landscape can be divided into natural geographical elements,production and life landscape elements and non-material cultural landscape elements;The hierarchical structure includes the landscape structure system which is based on the base of mountains and rivers,the production and living landscape as the main body and the intangible cultural landscape as the connotation.The article focuses on the analysis of the elements and spatial structure of the material cultural landscape.According to the differences of cultural characteristics of ethnic groups,the traditional villages in Dongguan City are divided into two types of cultural landscape: Guangfu cultural dominant type and Guangke blending type.The characteristics of the material cultural landscape of Guangfu culture dominant type are as follows: relying on the landscape base with alternating mountains and rivers and crisscross water network;the productive landscape with dike and pond as the main body and the living landscape with comb layout as the main body of the village landscape;the characteristics of the intangible cultural landscape are the cultural activities and intangible cultural heritages under the patriarchal system and multiple beliefs.The construction principles of cultural landscape are refined as the construction wisdom,systematic space construction and sustainable ecological construction.The characteristics of the material and cultural landscape of the traditional village with the integration of Cantonese and Hakka are as follows: relying on the mountain and water base with numerous hills and hills;the main body of the village landscape is composed of the living landscape under the arrangement layout.The construction principle of cultural landscape is embodied in the site selection of geomantic omen and the introverted and closed folk psychology.Through in-depth investigation and analysis,this paper explores and summarizes the commonness and individuality of the types of traditional village cultural landscape in Dongguan City,so as to provide effective suggestions for the protection and activation of traditional villages,and give full play to the economic and social cultural value of traditional village cultural landscape scientifically and reasonably.
