As an important node connecting the Urban Interior and External Traffic,Comprehensive Passenger Transportation Hub(CPTH)faces the tremendous pressure of massive passenger collection and distribution.Its transferring efficiency directly affects the operation level of CPTH and passenger transferring experience.Guiding-signs are critical mediums for passengers to obtain the location information of destination in CPTH during transferring.Thus,the lack of reasonableness for guiding-signs indication information setting contributes to the low efficiency and experience of transferring and the limited functionality of hub’s collection and distribution.In the current engineering practice,there are significant problems of CPTH guiding-sign system,such as discontinuous and repeated indication information.In order to guide the appropriate CPTH indication information setting,improve transferring efficiency and promote the efficient and intelligent construction of CPTH transportation infrastructure,the thesis took the indication information setting of CPTH guiding-sign system as the research object,used mathematical modeling methods,combined with the mechanism of guiding-signs and the characteristics of passenger way-finding behavior,proposed a CPTH indication information setting model,and achieved the quantitative setting of indication information in guiding-signs.The theory is composed of the following parts mainly.(1)The basic concept and classification of guiding signs were clarified,and the standard methods of indication information setting were summarized.Since the basic concept and type of guiding signs have been described,the foundation facility of indication information setting was proposed.Meanwhile the standard methods of indication information setting and their advantages and disadvantages were summarized,which demonstrated the practical significance of quantitative indication information setting.(2)A Static Indication Information Setting Model(SIISM)was presented.The essential characteristics of CPTH indication information setting were analyzed,and the concept of coherency of guiding-signs was defined;With reference to the relevant guiding-signs specifications,hierarchical indication information setting criteria and the constraints of the model was then determined,which laid the foundation for the following research on dynamic network characteristics under a particular time window.Also,with defining the related parameters and decision variables of the SIISM,combining the number of indication information,partition setting and logical constraints,a single-stage multi-objective integer programming model considering the optimal number of guiding-signs and the maximum passenger flow of nodes is conducted.It was shown that SIISM could meet all essential requirements of setting by verifying the layout scheme solved from the designed Multi-objective Genetic Algorithm Based on Pareto(MOGA/P).(3)A Dynamic Indication Information Setting Model(DIISM)was presented.Based on SIIS mentioned above,the network characteristics of the dynamic guiding-signs system that guiding-signs maintains the same service state in any time window(implicit dynamic),while the indication information presents different service state in other time windows(explicit dynamic),were analyzed,and the related parameters and decision variables were defined.On the basis of the optimal number of guiding signs and the maximum passenger flow of nodes,and further considering the optimal system stability,a multi-stage and multi-objective integer programming model is constructed.(4)The proposed indication information setting theory and method were applied to B1 Beijing South Railway Station.The analysis of guiding-signs indication information shown that based on satisfying the coherency of guiding-signs,the number of indication information reduces 48% when indication information is hierarchical compared with the opposite situation.It contributes to less visual noise and better transferring efficiency.Meanwhile the analysis of guiding-signs path setting at different period shown that dynamic indication information setting reduces the maximum node flow by 7% and alleviate path congestion effectively...
