"Growing beans under the mountains,the grass is full of bean sprouts",the mountainous terrain occupies a high proportion of the landform in our country and is widely distributed.,Due to the background and natural conditions such as geographical location and resources,the economic and social development of mountainous counties has been relatively lagging for a long time.As a result,the rural population in mountainous areas has continued to migrate out in recent years,resulting in the waste and idleness of rural residential bases.Become a hollow village and even an empty village.Terrain factors have a significant impact on the spatial distribution of residential areas in mountainous areas,and have formed a certain restrictive effect.The coverage of basic public service facilities is subject to multiple constraints,and the rural living environment is relatively poor.Based on the comprehensive influence of natural and human elements,the distribution of land use scale and layout of rural residential areas in mountainous areas needs to be solved urgently.Political and academic circles are very concerned about the further development of this phenomenon.Among them,the evolution of rural residential land use patterns and driving mechanisms are researched.It is an important research direction for optimizing the layout of rural residential areas.The ecological environment of the Dabie Mountains is sensitive and the ecosystem is complex.Therefore,the research on the layout of rural settlements in the Dabie Mountains is representative and can reflect many problems in the layout of rural settlements in the mountainous areas.Based on the GIS spatial analysis method and the Logistic regression model,this paper takes Jinzhai County,the core area of Dabie Mountain,as the research area.Through the spatial distribution,scale structure,and morphological characteristics of rural residential areas in the research area,it combines natural conditions,social economy and ecology.Such data explore the driving force of changes in rural residential areas,in order to provide a reference for the planning and arrangement of rural residential areas in mountainous areas under the rural revitalization strategy.Secondly,according to the actual development of rural residential areas in mountainous areas,an evaluation index system for the suitability of rural residential areas in mountainous areas was constructed,and ant colony algorithm was used to take Jinzhai County in Anhui Province as an example to conduct an empirical study on the optimization of rural residential areas.Put forward relevant policy recommendations.The main conclusions and results of the research are as follows:(1)Based on the research results of predecessors,consider the availability and scientificity of indicators to construct a multi-objective system to optimize the appropriateness of the layout of rural residential areas.This indicator system first considers the convenience of residents’ production and life,and constructs an appropriate indicator system with the two basic goals of urbanization and agglomeration.On this basis,it has been extended to initially consider the issue of land agglomeration and planning costs,and deal with it in the form of quantitative indicators,which is more in line with the realistic requirements of the layout of rural residential areas,and takes Jinzhai County as an example.The calculation of the annual landscape pattern index quantitatively describes the changes in the scale,form,and number of rural settlements in Jinzhai County over the past ten years.It is found that the number of rural areas in Jinzhai County has decreased,the form of villages has become more agglomerated,and the average size of villages has increased.(2)Through the binary logistic regression model,the driving factors of the change in the layout of rural residential areas in Jinzhai County are analyzed in detail using the three dimensions of nature,society and economy.In terms of the overall factors affecting the change in the number of residential areas,the driving factors of the overall changes in rural residential areas,from large to small,are DEM,grain output,total output value of agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery,oil production,distance from roads,frequency of geological disasters,Farmland production potential.The multivariate logistic regression model is used to deeply analyze the different driving forces of the increase or decrease in the number.Among them,the multi-year average precipitation,dryness,fixed investment,farmland production potential,oil production,and frequency of geological disasters have increased the number of rural settlements;and the higher the elevation.The greater the distance between roads and waters,the greater the possibility of increased changes in the number of rural settlements.The main driving factors affecting the decrease in the number of rural settlements in Jinzhai County are humidity index,grain production,oil production,farmland production potential,and probability of occurrence of geological disasters;while the increase in elevation,agricultural,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery output value,and road distance will increase the number of roads in some areas.The number of rural settlements increased.(3)In order to achieve multi-objective optimization of the layout of rural residential areas,the ant colony algorithm is used to simulate the optimal layout of rural residential areas in Jinzhai County.It is found that the ant colony algorithm will have a local optimal situation in the global simulation.The optimization scope was further reduced.The three towns of Yanzihe,Tiantangzhai,and Changling were used to simulate the layout optimization.With reference to related research,the optimization parameters were set,and the layout of the rural residential areas in the three towns was intelligently optimized,and the intelligent optimization algorithm was analyzed.Feasibility and scientificity,and put forward suggestions and opinions on the policy guarantee after the layout optimization,which has a little reference significance for the future layout of rural settlements in Jinzhai County and even the optimization of the layout of rural settlements in China’s mountainous areas.Figure [28] table
