Research On The Protection And Activation Modes Of Traditional Villages And Dwellings From The Perspective Of The Science Of Human Settlements

Inspired by the project “Development Plan of Youngster Innovative Team from Higher Education Institutions in Shandong Province—— Service team for reserve,management,and flexible utilization of traditional villages” of the tutor,this paper selected this topic,with the purpose of optimizing the human settlement environment of Erqilou Village,Tai’an City,Shandong Province,excavating local cultural traditions under the guidance of the policy spirit of "19th National Congress" based on scientific theory.The design practice is aimed at better satisfying the production and life needs of local villagers,promoting the economic development of the village,establishing a sustainable ecological system,and discovering the application method of the scientific theory of human settlement in rural revitalization.Erqilou Village,Daolang Town,Tai’an City is selected as the research object,which is located in the western part of the Taishan Mountains with profound Chinese cultural heritage and characteristic Taishan tourism resource of stone-built houses.It was included in the fifth batch of Chinese traditional villages in 2019.The unexploited village preserving a relatively complete traditional architectural style and village texture with promising development potential has been discovered by travel enthusiasts in recent years.Therefore,it is necessary to record and study this village in time to provide a basis for reasonable development.Through on-site surveying,interviews,and basic information provided by the village committee,this paper organizes,summarizes and then proposes problems,investigates the solutions through related theoretical literature and case studies.Next,this paper conducts research on the renovation of typical courtyards in the village to solve the problems.In 2019,through three field surveys in Erqilou Village within 30 days,based on oral interviews with four main participants,including the craftsmen and homeowners who had personally experienced the construction process,this paper conducts a systematic study of the construction process of the stone-built houses in Erqilou Village,construction techniques and construction customs.First,according to villagers’ current living conditions,this paper sorts out the living environmentproblems of not satisfying villagers’ current production and life needs.Secondly,based on the natural environment and human environment of Erqilou Village,this paper selects relevant theories of human settlement environment in combination with the analysis of domestic and overseas excellent design cases,proposes updated flexible strategies corresponding to the existing problems,and applied to the practice process of improving the living environment of the typical courtyard of Erqilou Village.Finally,this paper uses model renderings to present the design concept and style of the improved residential environment of the typical courtyard of Erqilou Village,the courtyard function setting,the improved public space facilities and other practical results,displays the new appearance of the village under the contemporary technology and cultural concept,for the purpose of village activation and inheritance.Through the planning and design of Erqilou Village and the analysis of the architectural design of typical courtyard in of Erqilou Village,this paper explains the instruction and application of relevant theories of human settlement in the village renewal through real cases.It is hoped to provide certain reference for the conservation and inheritance of the same type of stone-built residential buildings in Shandong.
