Research On The Activation And Utilization Of Traditional Village Space From The Perspective Of Cultural Inheritance

In recent years,the endangered and declining phenomenon of traditional villages has become increasingly prominent,and the material environment and cultural atmosphere of villages have been destroyed.Although many traditional villages have been rescue protection,but the rich traditional culture has not been fully tapped and utilized.At present,people ’s activation and utilization of traditional villages are mostly limited to material remodeling at the ’ function-form ’ level,ignoring the profound cultural connotation of traditional village space.Therefore,it is an urgent practical problem to explore the activation path of traditional village space from the perspective of cultural inheritance,from static protection to living inheritance,and to realize the overall protection of traditional village material space and intangible culture.Through literature review,this study analyzes the mechanism of the interaction between traditional village space and culture,summarizes the multiple effects of cultural inheritance on village space,clarifies the interaction between cultural inheritance and spatial activation,and constructs a framework for the spatial activation of traditional villages from the perspective of cultural inheritance.Taking Xucun Village,Shexian County,a traditional village in Huizhou as the research object,through field research and visits to obtain relevant data,using GIS spatial analysis technology and spatial syntax,this paper reveals the spatial evolution process and characteristics of Xucun Village,analyzes the dilemma of spatial activation of traditional villages,and proposes a path of spatial activation based on cultural inheritance.The results indicate that the spatial evolution of Xu Village shows the characteristics of expanding the village’s spatial scale,shifting the overall layout focus,rapid invasion of foreign cultures,gradual alienation of street and alley spaces,gradual decline of traditional culture,destruction of node spaces,gradual revitalization of new era culture,and rapid transformation of village space.The current situation of Xu Village’s space is characterized by insufficient government control,gradually disorderly development of spatial forms,lack of cultural protection mechanisms,constructive destruction of traditional style,lack of construction and maintenance funds,and serious natural damage to local buildings.The spatial activation of Xu Village should aim at cultural inheritance,with the aim of extracting cultural characteristics of the village,enhancing spatial cultural connotations,and reshaping traditional cultural experience venues as the activation ideas.This study proposes spatial activation paths from three aspects: the overall form of traditional villages,the spatial style of streets and alleys,and the cultural node space.Firstly,it sorts out the cultural context and continues to repair the overall form of villages;The second is to protect the cultural atmosphere and improve the spatial style of streets and alleys;The third is to explore cultural characteristics and restore the vitality of cultural node space.This study analyzes the cultural connotation of traditional village space from the perspective of cultural heritage,summarizes the evolution characteristics of traditional village space through analyzing the evolution process of traditional village space,and proposes the path of traditional space activation,which provides a new perspective for the study of traditional village space activation,and also provides reference and reference for the protection and development of traditional villages in other regions.Figure [58] table [8] reference [88]...
