Currently,Lean Manufacturing is one of the most discussed methodologies and a lot of aircraft manufacturers implement the principles of Lean in their production systems.Simultaneously,Internet technologies are also used in the aviation industry.In this thesis it was proposed to use integration of both methodologies-Lean and Internet of Things for increasing competitiveness of aviation enterprise.Before realizing this concept on the real enterprise,it is necessary to simulate and analyze the results after its implementation.Discrete Event Simulation will be used in this thesis for proving these technologies efficiency.Particularly,ARENA software ideally suits for this research performance and could be used for new technologies implementation modeling.Finally,it was concluded that Lean and Internet of Things technologies should be used in integrated way and analyzed in a more detailed way.
