Coordination and crew motivation are significant components of the construction process.Recent research has shown that the best is done on building sites is weak or insufficient coordination and crew motivation.Nevertheless, this critical topic has not been discussed by many writers of books on construction project management.A research was carried out in this current thesis found that there is a lack of systematic knowledge of how coordination and crew motivation on a construction project is currently accomplished on a day to day basis. The owners, consultants and contractors struggle to coordinate adequately in massive construction projects and leaders struggle to motivate their crew, whose success could be explain in terms of time, cost, quality and satisfaction. However, coordination and crew motivation factors are crucial in securing the successful accomplishment of all stages of the project. In this study, partial least squares structural equation modelling(PLS-SEM)methodology uses to indicate factors that lack of coordination and crew motivation badly affects the success of infrastructural projects, using quality relationship(QR)as a mediator and quality management system(QMS)as a moderator.A conceptual model was developed for the evaluation of project success. The model comprises of three key latent factors. An empirical analysis to test the conceptual model was carried out through the questionnaire survey. The data collected from 261 building experts who were employed in the construction sector in Pakistan. The findings of the analysis showed that the model 2value was 0.627 which indicated that the lack of coordination and crew motivation had a main influence on project success.2 value of mediatar is 0.512 which indicate that QR act as moderator among coordination, crew motivation and project success. Moreover QMS value is 0.154 which indicates that its affect as moderator between coordination and project success similarly QMS value-0.197 indicates that its not act as moderator between crew motivation and project success. The cohesion related factors(beta 0.421)from crew motivation and communicationrelated factors(beta 0.367)from coordination have a greater effects on project success, based on the overall form of the model. The conceptual model GOF was calculated as 0.667 which showed the conceptual model validity and reliability, and the data matches correctly. The current study find a new moderator(QMS),its effect on coordination and crew motivation which is previously missing in the literature and quality management system is never used before as a moderator among coordination, crew motivation and project success;this provides additional insights to the array of knowledge in the construction industry that leads project managers to understand the lack of coordination, crew motivation and its impact on project success. The learnings from this research would be beneficial for stakeholders, leaders and decision makers to focus on illustrated concerns and issues faced by construction sector.
