| Affected by the continued downturn in the international shipping market,domestic shipbuilding companies are facing huge pressures such as difficulty in receiving and shrinking ship orders,and facing severe situations internally such as difficulty in controlling procurement costs and high risk of supplier performance.It is urgent to take effective measures to deal with it.As equipment procurement is important,so it is imperative to strengthen the management of equipment suppliers.At present,Japan,South Korea,Germany and other shipbuilding powerhouses have each formed practical and feasible supplier management methods.However,due to the late start of the supplier management application of domestic enterprises,the equipment supplier management of D Shipyard cannot reach the first-class level that matches the scale of the enterprise.It cannot play a role effectively in supporting the development strategy of the enterprise in terms of cost,quality,and construction period.Firstly,this paper briefly introduces the importance of shipbuilding industry development,the general trend of world shipbuilding industry development and the status of China’s shipbuilding industry development.By consulting relevant information and investigating the relevant staff of D shipyard,based on the analysis of the current situation of D shipyard and its equipment supplier management,summarized the current problems in the equipment supplier management of D shipyard.The main problems are imperfect management organization,unclear classification management,unreasonable selection process,the evaluation system is not objective,and lack of a comprehensive performance evaluation and incentive mechanism.In view of these problems,this dissertation comprehensively uses the methods of literature combing,field research,data collection and analysis,combined with the current situation of D shipyard’s supplier management,in-depth analysis of the shortcomings and the underlying reasons,and specific countermeasures.Combining the corresponding theories of supplier management with the actual situation to propose countermeasures,mainly including the establishment of a supplier management team with procurement personnel as the core,reasonable classification of equipment suppliers,scientific methods to select and evaluate equipment suppliers,and establishment of training mechanisms of mature suppliers,etc.The research in this dissertation provides a problem analysis and improvement measures for D shipyard to realize the management ability of upgrading equipment suppliers as soon as possible,and has certain reference value for other shipyards.The purpose of this dissertation is to control costs and risks effectively in the process of improving the rationality and applicability of supplier management strategies,and to achieve a mutual benefit situation for enterprises and suppliers. |
