| M engineering company is a wholly owned subsidiary of F company which is a subsidiary of the world’s top 500 C group company.Its strategy can represent C group company development program in Bangladesh partially.Successful development and implementation of the company strategy will make great sense,which can not only provide a clear direction for its own development,but also provide experience for other regional development.The PEST model and Porter’s five-force model are used in the external environment analysis and industry status analysis,and analysis of the internal environment is carried out through resource and capacity,40 key factors is concluded finally.The Delphi method is used to assign these factors,which are also scored by 16 people who are involved in the company business.The result of anlysis is that the total score of external key factors is 2.957,which has the ability to grasp the opportunities brought by the external environment and to deal with the threats brought by the external environment;the total score of internal key factors is 3.691,the internal situation is strong.Based on environment analysis,the SWOT method is adopted for formulating strategy combination,and 4 strategy combinations are obtained,including growth strategy,reverse strategy,professional strategy and defense strategy.The different strategies are evaluated by QSPM,which concluded that the professional strategy is the optimal selection of the company at present.The company should defend themselves against threats of external environment through its core competence in hydraulic engineering,then gradually expand the scope to other field to improve the comprehensive level constantly.Therefor,the China investment project is prior at the early stage,which can reduce the risk caused by its own disadvantages and enhance the overall competitiveness of the company.According to the conclusion of the analysis,the vision,mission and strategic objectives are generated,meanwhile,the strategic implementation plan and control plan are made.To guarantee the strategy be implemented successfully,the support system is formulated from the aspects of organization structure,management system,human resources,risk control and culture creation. |
