Research On The Inheritance And Development Of Tibetan Traditional Architectural Elements To Tibetan Contemporary Architecture

Traditional Tibetan architecture is created by the Tibetan nation in its development process according to the geographical environment,humanity,nature,plateau climate and other factors,and in the process of practice combined with the Tibetan Buddhism culture to create the architectural material form heritage with national characteristics.As an inseparable part of the inheritance and development of traditional Tibetan architectural elements,the unique cultural edification,religious influence,masonry techniques and decoration types of the Tibetan nationality have been continued.However,with the development of society,the integration of Tibetan traditional architecture and contemporary culture is confronted with the loss of the original intention of Tibetan contemporary architecture in the inheritance of traditional Tibetan architecture and the loss of self in the development.In order to better study the inheritance and development of Tibetan contemporary architecture by traditional Tibetan architectural elements,I will go deep into the Tibetan area for field investigation and field visit,obtain a large number of first-hand information,and finally complete the writing of this paper.The paper consists of four parts: basic research,problem discovery,problem solving and conclusion.The basic research is composed of the first chapter and the second chapter.Discover the problem by the third chapter,the fourth chapter,the fifth chapter;Problem Solving consists of Chapter 6;The conclusion consists of seven chapters.The basic research includes research background,research purpose and significance,definition of relevant concepts,research scope and methods,research status and research framework at home and abroad.Development history,the architecture of a typical building in Tibet,the style characteristics,impact on the natural geographical conditions and cultural background,religion,history,etc are summarized,and to introduce the Tibetan way of contemporary architecture defines and Tibetan contemporary architectural features,and analysis of the development of Tibetan traditional architecture,architectural features and cultural backgrounds.Based on the combination of field research and literature materials,the author made a comprehensive analysis of Tibetan traditional architecture,and analyzed the characteristics of well-preserved cultural relics in the long course of the development of Tibetan traditional architecture,as well as the architectural plane,architectural facade,architectural structure and architectural decoration.Finally,the characteristics of Tibetan traditional architecture are sorted out in the form of text to better guide how to inherit and develop Tibetan contemporary architecture.Then it analyzes the ethnic,regional,contemporary and characteristic characteristics of Tibetan contemporary architecture,and analyzes the inheritance status of Tibetan traditional architectural elements to Tibetan contemporary architecture by relying on the planned and completed buildings in Tibetan contemporary architecture.It also studies the construction mode,technology integration,decoration skills,space creation and other aspects of Tibetan contemporary architecture.Finally,through the analysis of the first three chapters,it is concluded that modern people’s understanding of architecture is too simplistic,especially the understanding of traditional architecture.Excessive appearance of traditional architecture,losing the connotation of traditional architecture.In the design and construction of Tibetan contemporary architecture,they do not have a deep understanding of the plane,facade,structure and decoration methods of Tibetan traditional architecture,which leads to the fact that Tibetan contemporary architecture only imitates Tibetan traditional architecture and does not have a profound understanding of the connotation of Tibetan traditional architecture.Through the architectural plane space form,the construction of the facade,the use of materials in the structure and the color selection in the decoration and other multidimensional analysis of the status quo.Part of the solution to the problem is to analyze the deformity of the inheritance and development of Tibetan contemporary architecture through the problems in the inheritance and development of Tibetan traditional architecture.Further consider the predicament in the development of Tibetan traditional architecture.Through the analysis of the existing problems,the design trend of contemporary architecture in Tibet can be as follows: returning to the essence,combining modern science and technology,highlighting contemporary personality and carrying forward traditional architecture.The conclusion part shows the inheritance and development methods of Tibetan traditional architecture to Tibetan contemporary architecture,so as to serve as a reference for contemporary architectural designers in design,and broaden relevant theoretical research.
