Research On Characteristics And Inheritance Strategy Of Tibetan Architecture In Gangcha,Qinghai

As an integral part of China’s Tibetan Plateau,Qinghai is divided into four regions:the Three Rivers Region,the Qaidam Basin Region,the Qinghai Lake Rim Region,and the Eastern Region,as indicated by the "four regions,two belts and one line".It is a unique humanistic landscape on the plateau,and also a carrier of religious culture.In recent years,in the area around Qinghai Lake,the life pattern of herdsmen "living by water" has changed significantly along with the continuous promotion of "herdsmen settlement".Driven by the two factors of herders’ settlement and the development of Qinghai Lake tourism,a number of new construction,alteration and addition projects have been carried out.However,due to the lack of theoretical research and technical support,not only have the traditional dwellings been destroyed,but also the new buildings lack regional characteristics,which requires the exploration of Tibetan-style architecture with ethnic characteristics.The author specifies the source of the topic and the background of the study by posing a question to clarify the purpose and significance of the study,and on this basis qualifies the research object and clarifies the research topic.Next is the basic analysis,firstly,by reviewing a large amount of literature and relevant materials,the development process of Tibetan architecture in Gangcha is studied,its natural and human environment is recognized,and its influence on local Tibetan architecture is analyzed.Then,we conducted case studies and analysis,fieldwork and visits,personal feelings and research,and summarized and analyzed the current situation of the development of Tibetan architecture in Guncha and some problems existing at present,as well as put forward the future development of Tibetan architecture in Guncha under the influence of the general social background of urbanization and rural revitalization.Then,we analyze the characteristics of traditional Tibetan architecture in Guncha,extract its characteristic elements,and analyze the spatial form,component elements,color elements,and symbol elements of local traditional Tibetan architecture,starting from the plan,fa?ade,and decoration of the building,and summarize the characteristics of its elements.Finally,based on the above research on the characteristics of traditional Tibetan architecture in Guncha,we propose the characteristic expression and inheritance strategy of Tibetan architecture in Guncha.The principles of inheritance are based on the four aspects of appropriateness,innovation,sustainability,and conservation,and the inheritance strategies are proposed based on the inheritance of ethnic culture and the continuation of architectural elements.Finally,it provides some effective ways for the expression of Tibetan architectural features in Guncha with realistic significance.
