Old Industrial Residential Areas In Baotou From The Perspective Of Residents’ Health On Study Renewal Of Public Space

At present,the living environment of old industrial residential areas in China can no longer meet the daily life needs and health needs of residents,and it is urgent to seek new development opportunities under the background of upgrading the urban stock.The old industrial residential areas and its residents are the epitome of China’s important development stage,which has particularity.However,at present,the research on the influence of public space on residents’ health in the old industrial residential areas is relatively weak in China.Therefore,it is of practical significance to pay attention to the living environment of old industrial residential areas and the health level of its residents,so as to improve the quality of the city and reflect the social humanistic care.Based on the above problems,this paper analyzes the concept and characteristics of residents’ health and public space in old industrial residential areas by combining theoretical research with case analysis,summarizes the research status and related theories,and analyzes the relationship between residents’ health and public space in residential areas.At the same time,taking the public space of the old industrial residential area in Baotou as an example,this paper makes on-the-spot investigation on its residents’ basic situation,types of daily activities,health status,road space,courtyard space,green landscape space and supporting environmental facilities,etc.On the basis of the investigation results,it summarizes the ways and elements that affect residents’ health in the public space of the old industrial residential area in Baotou,and determines the specific development direction for renewal.Combined with the influence of public space in Baotou old industrial residential area on residents’ health,this paper puts forward specific renewal strategies: improving road space,activating courtyard space,optimizing green landscape space and perfecting supporting environmental facilities to optimize its physical space environment and reshape its place spirit,so as to shape the living environment which can promote the improvement of residents’ health level.Finally,the typical old industrial residential area in Baotou City—No.1 Street,Ziyou Road,is selected for case practice design,and the renewal target is set based on the actual situation of residents’ health characteristics and physical space conditions,and the public spaces such as road space,courtyard space,green landscape space and supporting environmental facilities are renewed and designed.This paper makes a theoretical research on residents’ health and public space in old industrial residential area,sums up the influence of public space in old industrial residential area on residents’ health,and determines the renewal direction of public space in old industrial residential area from the angle of residents’ health.Through combing the road space,activating the courtyard space,enriching the green landscape space,perfecting supporting environmental facilities and other renewal strategies,this paper specifically expounds how to use renewal to improve the environmental quality of public space in old industrial residential areas,so as to actively promote residents’ health,which has practical reference significance for the renewal of public space in old industrial residential areas in Baotou City,and explores an operable new perspective practice direction for the renewal of urban stock in Baotou City.
