Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA)-based real-time digital solver(FPGA Based Real Time Digital Solver,FRTDS)makes full use of the features of FPGA’s high parallelism and deep pipeline,and can achieve the calculation level of fine-grained Simulation calculation has been applied in the field of power system simulation.Based on the premise of FRTDS hardware structure and compiling software,this paper proposes a component-oriented power system simulation modeling method.The power system is divided into electrical system,control system and interface system,and the corresponding component modeling method is proposed,so that the real-time simulation modeling process based on FRTDS is modularized and graphical.The combination and reconstruction of components are applied to power system simulation modeling,so that real-time simulation of power system can be modeled according to the needs and focuses of simulation.The component-based modeling method is applied to the simulation script of FRTDS,and the component-based modeling of FRTDS is realized.The component-based modeling is used to optimize the structure of the variable declaration in the simulation script to reduce the number of data scheduling during the simulation process.The Tinney algorithm with a small amount of calculation is used for the internal solution process of the component,and the minimum degree maximum independent set method with a high degree of parallelism is used for the external network equation solution process,which improves the calculation speed of real-time simulation.The 220 k V generator-transformer unit and substation is simulated as an example.The optimization of the component-based modeling method for the FRTDS simulation script and the correctness of the component-based modeling method are verified.
