Fracture problems caused by transportation,accidents,aging population and other factors influence sustainable development of society and people’s healthy life.External fixation of orthopedics and its computer-aided software combined robot technology and orthopaedics become an effective way to improve the accuracy of orthopedic treatment and reduce the labor intensity of doctors.The paper focuses on the problems of the installation of external fixator and the optimization of software interface,and deeply studies the design of convenient installation tools and the reasonable and comfortable interface layout method.The main research results is:Design of installation tool for external fixation.Divided different installation scenarios of external fixation,i.e.surgical reduction installation and rehabilitation sharing ratio measurement installation.Design a list of questions,interview orthopedic experts with the help of user interview method,and refine the problems with narrow operation space of installation tools.Using the observation method to follow the patients’ cases of post-operative rehabilitation in the whole process,the problems of parallel rings,determination of mounting holes,angle measurement and bolt installation were found.Based on the case to comprehensive analysis the common problems of the installation of external fixation of bone,summarized the shortcomings of current installation tools from the existing solutions,got the design requirements of installation tools.According to the installation problems and design requirements,designed the clamping tool,small space wrench and long-distance operation round head wrench,to reduce the measurement error of the sensor,ensure a more accurate share ratio calculation,and shorten the installation time of the external fixator.Interface optimization of the Smart Eye System software.The paper adopted the optimization design method based on situation,including problem situation,solution situation and result situation.With the help of user interview method and 5W2 H analysis method,the paper investigates one expert user and three ordinary users,obtains the understanding degree of the main user to the Smart Eye System,proposes the problems of interface setting and presentation mode,carries out competitive product analysis and raises the problems of interface color,tests the original Smart Eye System for users on trial,and extracts the content of interface optimization.Based on the problem situation,obtained the function module and interface prototype diagram of system interface optimization from conceptual design and prototype optimization of solution situation,tested the interface optimization results,to improve the interface.Using icon design and color selection,completed the deployment of interface visual elements of the Smart Eye System.Tested the user satisfaction of the optimization interface of the Smart Eye System in the result situation.The research work of the paper has a great significance to promote the engineering application of external fixator and computer-aided software,and to achieve accurate and minimally invasive orthopedic treatment.
