In the traditional practice teaching mode of hydraulic components, students usually operate directly on the experimental platform. This mode has great security risks, and there are also general problems in the traditional practice teaching, such as: lack of teaching equipment, large investment in experiments, limited number of experiments and so on.In recent years, the vigorous development of computer technology and information technology, virtual reality technology is constantly breaking the technical barriers, followed by the education mode to 5g + VR immersion teaching transformation, education mode can make students share educational resources, break many cost limitations and practical teaching pressure, and promote modern information teaching mode.In this context, the development of high scalability and practicality of virtual reality platform, the combination of virtual reality technology and engineering practice teaching has become the current research hotspot. In this paper,a virtual experiment platform for hydraulic components is developed with the help of unity3 d engine.Based on the real experiment contents and requirements of hydraulic components, the main functions and overall development framework of the virtual experiment platform for hydraulic components are defined, and the content requirements and experimental characteristics of three modules in the platform,And for component disassembly module, basic fluid module and component performance module, are designed and implemented Now,all modules are integrated into the Virtual Laboratory of hydraulic components. The specific research work is as follows:(1)Firstly,the 3D model of hydraulic components and experimental equipment is established by Solid Works, and 3DMAX is used to render, map and lighten the model. At the same time, the disassembly animation design is realized based on the key frame technology.(2)Secondly,the virtual scene is built based on collision detection,UGUI screen adaptation, camera perspective and other technologies. The visual components and interactive components of unity3 d are used to complete the UI interface design, and the scene switching and scene roaming functions are realized with script control.By using ray picking method and virtual environment object motion transformation matrix, the motion control of virtual 3D object is realized, the interactive design of solid model is completed, and the virtual experiment scene of hydraulic components including UI and 3D object is constructed.(3)Thirdly,the fluid plug-in Obi Fluid and particle system are used to simulate the oil movement which is not suitable for the basic fluid module to observe.According to the chart of component performance module,XCharts and UGUI are used to draw the dynamic change legend of experimental data clearly and intuitively.(4)Finally,based on unity3 d design and implementation of the traditional hydraulic experiment teaching includes component disassembly experiment, basic fluid experiment, component performance experiment of three modules of virtual experiment, detailed description of the main functions of each module, and the platform resources integration after packaging and distribution. In this paper, the virtual reality technology is applied to the hydraulic practice teaching, rich professional content and friendly interaction can mobilize the enthusiasm of students’ active learning, has good practicability.Through the virtual experiment platform, students can not be limited by the general problems of traditional experiments,so that students can learn and practice at any time and any place. The research content and methods of this paper provide a certain foundation for visual teaching and training.
