The hydraulic cylinder of the outriggers plays the role of supporting engineering vehicle,which aims to increase the security area of gravity center and improve the working performance and stability of the vehicle structure.The hydraulic cylinder is subjected to working and self-weight loads during working process,which has a great impact on the working performance of the vehicle.However,when designing the outrigger hydraulic cylinder,the traditional theoretical analysis simplifies the structure too much to obtain an accurate analytical solution of the stress in the irregular geometrical structure.Therefore,this thesis established finite element model of the outrigger hydraulic cylinder and carried out a detailed analysis of the structure.The author takes a standardized outrigger hydraulic cylinder as the research object,theoretically analyzes the structure of the cylinder body,and verifies its buckling stability by using the energy method.The parameterized finite element model of the outrigger hydraulic cylinder was established by ANSYS Parametric Design Language,and the static analysis under typical working conditions was carried out.The stress distribution of each component and the stress concentration corners were analyzed in detail;The stability analysis leads to the model’s buckling deformation distribution and buckling instability critical load.The results of finite element analysis and theoretical calculations are in good agreement,which verifies the validity of the finite element model.In this paper,the weight of the standardized outrigger hydraulic cylinder has been optimized.In the case of meeting the requirements of working,the weight loss is 7.1%,and it has been applied to actual products with good results.Meanwhile,The author develops a series of hydraulic cylinder structural analysis platforms,including three functional modules: static analysis,buckling analysis,and fatigue life prediction.The fully visualized windows operation platform greatly simplifies finite element analysis procedures,the development efficiency of similar products has been significantly improved,and the platform has been promoted within the company.
