The torpedo launcher is one of the core components of the torpedo weapon system,and it has always been the focus of research and development of the world’s naval powers.The torpedo exit speed is one of the most important technical indicators of the launcher.It is directly related to the energy reserve requirements and is the core of the launch system design.If the torpedo fails to launch,it will bring huge hidden dangers to naval warfare and cause huge losses to the country.For a certain type of torpedo launcher,a research institute affiliated to China Shipbuilding Corporation requires that the speed of torpedo discharge should be reduced as much as possible under the premise of meeting the maximum launching boat speed and torpedo combat use.This article uses this as the source of the subject,focusing on the safety of torpedo launching under water,and mainly conducted the following research:First of all,in view of the problem of torpedo launching and disembarking under water,the main research methods: theoretical analysis,experiment and numerical simulation are compared and analyzed,and the method of CFD numerical simulation is determined to be used for research.Secondly,for the more complex torpedo and launcher models,the 3D CAD software NX is used to simplify the torpedo and launcher models,establish a numerical water tank,determine the motion model,and determine the computational physical model through two-dimensional and axisymmetric related theoretical analysis.Third,the professional fluid dynamics analysis software STAR-CCM+ is used,and a numerical simulation method based on overlapping grid technology combined with DFBI motion solution is used to realize the simulation motion of torpedoes launched in a complex environment.Finally,the torpedoes are respectively carried out at different launch positions,different water flow speeds and assisted by different hydraulic cylinders for numerical simulation analysis,and the speed and displacement curves of the torpedoes when they leave the ship in different launch environments are obtained,which is the optimization of the launching device Provide theoretical basis;analyze the pressure cloud graph,velocity cloud graph,streamline graph,and launch tube shear stress cloud graph at the maximum speed of the launch boat,and provide an important theoretical basis for further optimization.
