Research For Reconstruction Of Xuzhou Traditional Public Cultural Space

As the material carrier of culture and activities,traditional public cultural space runs through the development history of the whole local society and people’s life.It is of great significance in urban construction and cultural construction.It is not only a space for public activities,but also can highlight regional characteristics and cultural connotation.As the second batch of famous historical and cultural cities in China,Xuzhou has a relatively rich traditional public cultural space,but in the process of urbanization,it was demolished and built,resulting in its atrophy and decline.Therefore,through the study of Xuzhou traditional public cultural space,this thesis summarizes its three remodeling elements,with the purpose of protecting the material space,traditional activities and space connotation,to continue the historical context of Xuzhou.This research mainly based on the theory of place spirit,proposed in view of the traditional construction of public cultural space research entities,the three elements of human activities and space connotation,combined with the traditional public cultural space form and characteristic,through to grasp the "space","activity","meaning" thread context to explain the traditional concept of this vast public cultural space.Research on selection of xuzhou old representative of three different types of space-predominantly religious culture longshan of cloud,is given priority to with history and culture of mountain and predominantly business culture back to dragon nest field investigation,the material space under the influence of natural factors,social factors under the influence of tradition,history,humanities factors under the influence of dimensional connotation characteristics of present situation,summarizes the advantages and the status quo.On this basis,combined with the reshaping willingness of the survey sample population,and based on the principles of spatial integrity,gradual process,natural ecology and landscape continuity,appropriate reshaping strategies are proposed,namely,adapting to the natural geographical environment,optimizing the spatial layout by category,controlling the forms inside and outside the space,and continuing the traditional features of the space.Necessary activities should be inserted to strengthen the function of cultural communication,restore traditional activities and enrich the ways of cultural display.Finally,it returns to the spatial entity of Xuzhou Confucian Temple and carries out the design and application of the three elements of reconstruction to verify the feasibility of the research on the reconstruction of Xuzhou traditional public cultural space in this thesis.There are 74 figures,25 tables and 95 references in this thesis.
