Study On Urban Design Of Mountainous Industrial Characteristic Towns From The Perspective Of Industry-Town Integration

Mountainous towns are an important platform for connecting urban and rural areas,enhancing the radiation power of central cities and practicing integrated urban-rural development in the mountain town system.Taking advantage of its transportation location,land cost and labor cost,the small mountain towns in southwest China undertake the industrial transfer of big cities,which has an obvious supporting effect on the local economy,urban development and improvement of people’s living standard,and is widely recognized and supported by local residents.Within the scope of environmental and ecological carrying capacity,this mode of industrial transfer for the surplus labor in primary industry is a practical and feasible path to drive the development of small towns in the southwest mountains.At the same time,the mountainous resources,traditional cultural resources and well-preserved traditional streets and alleys are monopolistic resources for small mountain towns,which provide unique conditions for the development of special industries.Among them,small towns with mountain industrial characteristics take advantage of their industrial base and realize the drive of secondary industry to primary and tertiary industries through the expansion of industrial chain,which is a better path for small towns with mountain industrial characteristics to achieve sustainable development in the future.The key lies in the cultivation of special industries and the organic combination of industrial space and town space.As for the industry-oriented industrial parks in small mountain towns,their leading industries are mainly resource-intensive and laborintensive,which often have problems such as large occupation of land resources by industrial space,ecological and environmental pollution hazards,etc.It is difficult to integrate into the adjacent small town space,and the town space is not strongly related to the development of its industry,resulting in a lack of integration and complementarity among the industrial system,spatial form,natural environment and living space.The integration and complementarity between industrial system,spatial form,natural environment and living space are lacking.The theory and method of urban design have unique advantages in spatial structure,corridor,landscape,interface shaping and development guidance,and can build the overall pattern of living,production and ecological space with a broader scope and more diversified perspective,so as to effectively integrate the industrial and spatial resources of small mountainous industrial towns and promote the development of town-industry integration of small towns through the transformation of the physical space of towns.On the basis of solving the employment of surplus rural labor,the model of industry-town integration in small characteristic towns improves the added value and competitiveness of small town industries,and finally realizes the synergistic and sustainable development of industries and towns.Through field research,case studies and practical verification,this paper constructs an urban design strategy for small mountainous industrial towns based on the perspective of town-industry integration,i.e.,integrating the concept of town-industry integration into the urban design strategy through a series of processes such as industrial system research,spatial pattern construction,spatial function integration and characteristic landscape construction,to realize the spatial design of towns coupled with industry and thus promote the formation of town-industry integrated spatial pattern in small towns.The spatial pattern of small towns is integrated.And taking Zhutuo town as an example,we analyze that Zhutuo town with paper industry as the leading industry faces a series of problems closely related to industry and town space such as environment and cultural destruction,and use the urban design system constructed in the previous paper to establish the spatial pattern of Zhutuo town with industry-town interaction from four aspects of urban design methods such as industrial system,spatial pattern,functional integration,and landscape construction to realize its characteristic small town "This paper is divided into six thematic chapters.This paper is divided into six thematic chapters.Chapter 1,"Introduction",presents the research topic based on field research in accordance with the problem-oriented research idea;Chapter 2,through the summary of relevant policies and theories,proposes the advantages of the town-industry integration model applied to small towns with mountainous industrial characteristics and the necessity and feasibility of urban design intervention;Chapter 3,after an in-depth study of the development status of typical small towns with industrial characteristics in Chongqing,presents the feasibility of urban design intervention.Chapter 3 summarizes the characteristics and problems of small towns with mountainous industrial characteristics based on an in-depth research on the development status of typical small towns with industrial characteristics in Chongqing;Chapter 4presents the construction of urban design system for small towns with mountainous industrial characteristics;Chapter 5 takes Zhutuo town in Chongqing as the research object and tries to apply the theoretical system established in the previous section to actual cases,and proposes basic strategies and methods for urban design on this basis;Chapter6,"Conclusion",presents the advantages of the town-industry integration model applied to small towns with mountainous industrial characteristics and the necessity and feasibility of urban design intervention.The sixth chapter,"Conclusion",is a summary of the research ideas,innovations and shortcomings,and provides directions for future research.
