| After the "high intensity" and "leap forward" development in China,many cities show the transformation from "industrial production city" to "post-modern consumption city".Consumer life and commercial demand promote the construction of a large number of new and multi type commercial street areas in China’s first and second tier cities,and have a greater impact on urban space.Among them,the newly built commercial blocks with the traditional style as the prototype,re organize the traditional style of collage "localization",such as Shanghai Xintiandi,Tai Koo Li Chengdu,Xin Tiandi,and so on,which become a kind of existence that can’t be ignored in the city’s environmental construction.To some extent,consumers,the public and academic researchers recognize the potential place value of the new traditional style commercial district,but also criticize the simple element stacking and the non-place design with traditional style shell to create market-oriented goods.From the existing research,there is a lack of attention to the city’s new commercial blocks in the study of place feeling,and the research on the sense of place in commercial block research lacks of survey and measurement.Combining with the existing research of "sense of place",we can find that its relevant dimensions and investigation methods provide a certain theoretical basis.Then we can explore whether this type of commercial block has a positive sense of place and what kind of sense of place from the empirical case investigation,which can fill the research gap of the sense of place in the new commercial block of the city to a certain extent,and has the guiding significance for the construction of new commercial block The practical value of design.To this end,this paper focuses on "new traditional style commercial block",to investigate its sense of place as the research purpose,through the establishment of three dimensions of nine indicators of the sense of place investigation system,to explore the current situation of this kind of commercial block sense of place,summarize its advantages and problems,on this basis,put forward the new traditional style commercial block sense of place design strategy.The basic idea of this paper is as follows:To this end,this paper focuses on "new traditional style commercial block",to investigate its sense of place as the research purpose,through the establishment of three dimensions of nine indicators of the sense of place investigation system,to explore the current situation of this kind of commercial block sense of place,summarize its advantages and problems,on this basis,put forward the new traditional style commercial block sense of place design strategy.The basic idea of this paper is as followsThe first chapter: introduction,through elaborating the research background of the topic,sorting out the research gaps and core research issues,research objects and related definitions,determining the scope and content of the research,clarifying the academic significance and practical value of the research,and putting forward the corresponding research methods and research framework.Chapter two: literature review and theoretical framework.First of all,the theory and basic issues of sense of place are sorted out,and the application of the theory and development of place feeling,the concept and interpretation of sense of place,the dimension of sense of place and the research method are analyzed.Integrating the theory of sense of place and the related research of newly built traditional style commercial block,the dimensions and analysis methods of sense of place in new traditional style commercial block are constructed,and a visual model is established for analysis.The third chapter: Chongqing new traditional-style commercial district overview and case selection.This paper analyzes the background of the construction of Chongqing’s new traditional style commercial blocks by clarifying the urban commercial development,commercial place construction and style foundation.Then,the paper compares the regional distribution,construction,operation status and other basic characteristics of new style blocks in Chongqing,and selects suitable commercial blocks for further investigation and research.Chapter four,five and six: case studies.Through field research,behavior records and questionnaire interviews,this paper disassembles the three dimensions of place cognition,place behavior and place emotion of the research cases: Danzishi Street commercial district,Chongqing Tiandi commercial district and shacixiang commercial district.Through quantitative analysis of the data of questionnaire interviews,it draws a visual model,and at the same time,it summarizes the problems of each dimension of the sense of place in the research cases Finally,the characteristics and typical problems of the sense of place in each case are summarized.Chapter Seven: Research on the design strategy of the sense of place of the new traditional style commercial district in Chongqing.Based on the comparison and difference analysis of the survey results in the first six chapters,this paper puts forward the design principles,strategies and specific practices of place sense suitable for the new traditional-style commercial blocks in Chongqing.Chapter eight: the conclusion,summarizes the research conclusion,the research innovation,and puts forward the deficiency of this research and the prospect. |
