Compound transmission mechanism of curve-face gear pair is proposed as a new type compound transmission mechanism of gear drive,which is used to realize variable transmission ratio output between intersecting shafts in space,transfer tangential torque and axial force at the same time,and realize compound transmission.Due to the need to move repeatedly through the spring,the gear surface slip and partial load phenomenon exist in the process of compound transmission of curve-face gear,which makes the gear pair easy to wear in the work,and the bearing capacity and reliability decrease.To this end,this paper from the point view of the gear profile modification.The tooth surface modification design of the driving wheel and the slave wheel in the compound transmission of curve-face gear pair is carried out,combined with the principle of tooth surface envelope processing and modification method of cylindrical gear,then the modification design model of compound transmission gear of curve-face gear pair is established.The finite element method was used to analyze its bearing capacity,and compared with the standard curve-face gear composite transmission,the optimization of the modified curve-face gear composite transmission is analyzed to effectively improve the bearing capacity of the curve-face gear composite transmission,which is of great significance to the theoretical analysis of the curve-face gear composite transmission mechanism.through the finite element analysis of its bearing capacity.The research contents of this paper are summarized as follows:The basic modification design theory of compound transmission of curve-face gear pair is studied.The transmission principle of the compound transmission mechanism of curve-face gear pair is analyzed from the perspective of mechanism evolution.And base on differential geometry theory and space meshing theory,determine the curve-face gear tooth surface generation coordinate system.According to the space coordinate transformation relations,tooth surface equation of curve-face gear are derived.At the same time,the phenomenon of root cutting and sharpening of curve-face gear is analyzed theoretically,and the reasonable selection range of tooth width is determined,and the mathematical model of theoretical tooth surface of curve-face gear is obtained.The design method of tooth modification for compound transmission of curve-face gear pair is researched.According to the principle of tooth surface envelope processing,through the rack tool modification,profile modification on the curve-face gear indirectly.The mathematical model of tooth modification design of curve-face gear was established and the influence of modification design parameters on the tooth profile of curve-face gear was analyzed.According to the tooth orientation modification theory of the cylindrical gear,the pinion of the curve-face gear pair composite transmission was modified,the tooth surface equation of the tooth orientation of the cylindrical gear pair was derived,and the influence of the modification design parameters on the tooth surface of the cylindrical gear was analyzed.Experimental analysis of the curve-face gear pair composite transmission is proposed.The tooth profile of the curve-face gear was detected by CNC gear testing center,and the tooth profile of the curve-face gear was compared with the theoretical modification design to determine the tooth profile modification amount of the curve-face gear.An experimental platform was set up for the composite transmission of curve-face gear pair,and the contact condition of the composite transmission tooth surfaces was determined by rolling experiments.Combined with the analysis of finite element simulation software,the changes of the contact position and bearing capacity of the composite transmission tooth surface of the curve-face gear under different modification design parameters were determined,and the correctness of the modification design method of the composite transmission tooth surface of the curve-face gear pair are verified.
