| Combined with the current research status of the architectural history at the level of macro-convergence design thinking,aiming at the hotly debated topics of that different social ideologies lead to different design trends and design paradigms,the paper selects Berlin,which is known as the "window of world housing design" of the world’s residential areas as the research area,and analyzes the differences and similarities between residential area planning and architectural design of East and West Berlin cities during the "Split" to "Cold War" transformation period.The mutual influence between different social ideologies and the historical development of regional buildings is discussed,a map of the development of urban residential area design ideas in East and West Berlin is drawn,and the learning materials and research results of the discipline of architectural history is also enriched.The paper takes the differences in the evolution of urban residential area design ideas in East and West Berlin as the research object.Starting with the angle of social ideology,the paper explores the relationship between social ideology and local architectural historical design through fieldwork,graphical analysis,inductive summary,comparative research,and interdisciplinary research methods.The mutual influence between social ideology and the development of local architectural historical design thoughts is discussed,and the specific process and characteristics of its constraints on the design and development of residential areas is clarified.The paper research is conducted from the following three levels: First,the analysis of the relevance of social ideology and urban residential area design: launch the relevance research from the macro influence of the political system of East and West Berlin,the dominant planning of ideology,the objective response to social issues and the return of regional identity;secondly,a longitudinal comparative study of the development of urban residential areas in East and West Berlin: based on the combing of the origins of Berlin,clarify the development context of the texture of Berlin urban residential areas,and extract the core problems solved by the design ideas of East-West Berlin residential districts in the1950 s and 1960s-70 s,which are power-commemorative directional spatial planning,the issue of power equality in residential spaces,and the regional identity and belonging of returning to regional urban memory;finally,by illustrations,analyze deeply the differences and commonalities between the guiding ideas and design paradigm of the classic East-West Berlin residential districts,summarize the mutual influence relationship between social ideology and the historical development of other regional buildings and determine its influence mechanism,process and characteristics.In the end,the historical map of the residential district planning idea and design development during the East-West Berlin transformation period is painted,which has made clear the difference of the influence of different social ideology on other regional building history development amid the history of macro-convergence;further proposes the significance of social ideology for the restrictive mechanism,restrictive process and characteristics of residential district planning and design and the clarification of the ethical function residential district carries,which enriches the basic teaching material and research results of the existential architecture historical discipline;meanwhile,this has provided certain reference suggestions for the “stock”update of the urban residential district with similar politics system replacement,pushing discipline research forward to a upper scale. |
