Research On Conservation Of Ancient Villages In Kangxian Pingluoyi Section Of Ancient Shaanxi-Gansu Tea-Horse Trail

The Tea-horse Trail is an ancient trade channel with tea-horse trade as the main content in western China.The ancient tea-horse trail in Shaanxi-Gansu province,which was the earliest official tea-horse tail,once played a huge and lasting role as the main traffic artery of the ancient western society in China.Kangxian Pingluoyi Section of Ancient Shaanxi-Gansu Tea-Horse Trail(Referred to as "Pingluoyi Section"),is the "WangguanTaishi" section in Kangxian,and Pingluo is an important post and trading market on the Shaanxi-Gansu Tea-Horse Trail.As the villages along the Ancient Tea Horse Trail,the Pingluo Post Section,and the richest remains of Pingluo,Zhongzhai Village,Tuanzhuang Village and Yaopugou Village can be said to be the living witnesses of the ancient Shaanxi-Gansu Tea-Horse Trail and the most important heritage sites in the Pingluoyi Section.With the proposal of the "Tea Horse trail Cultural Economic Belt",The protection and utilization of Ancient Shaanxi-Gansu Tea-Horse Trail will definitely involve the planning and construction of villages and towns along the route.The urgency of the protection of the ancient villages in Pingluoyi section is self-evident.This thesis is based on the vision of Ancient Shaanxi-Gansu Tea-Horse Trail,through the collection and sorting of historical records,field surveys and interviews,and the analysis of satellite imagery,the basic situation of the Shaanxi-Gansu Tea-horse Trail,Pingluo Section and the ancient villages of Pingluo Section was sorted out,It is clear that the Pingluo Section was an important route of Shaanxi-Gansu Tea-Horse Trail(Ganchuan Road),during the Song and Ming(Qing)Dynasties.There are many relics of tea-horse culture,which have certain historical,cultural,scientific and artistic value.It is very important to protect the ancient villages of Pingluoyi Section.Take Zhongzhai Village,Tuanzhuang Village,and Yaopugou Village as the research object.After clarifying that the historical and cultural characteristics of the ancient village of Pingluoyi Section are due to the influence of the tea-horse culture on the elements of villages,this thesis further analyzes and extracts the four major historical and cultural characteristics of the three ancient villages in Pingluoyi Section:(1)The village pattern which interacts with the ancient trail;(2)The service facilities which provides the safeguard for the ancient trail;(3)The architectural form which represents residential buildings in Longnan;(4)Preserve the lifestyle and historical memory of tea-horse culture.Finally,based on the historical and cultural characteristics of the ancient villages in Pingluoyi Section and the protection status of ancient villages,this thesis constructs a protection framework of the ancient villages in Pingluoyi section: proposing the three protection principles of overall protection from the perspective of the Shaanxi-Gansu Tea-Horse Trail,the dynamic protection of the coordination of protection and development,and the live protection of the tea-horse cultural heritage.The elements of ancient villages that clearly support the four historical and cultural characteristics of Pingluoyi are protection objects.According to the protection concept of combining systematic protection and classified protection,explored eight protection measures:(1) improving protection system;(2)establishment of protection mechanism;(3)delineation of protection zones;(4)restoring the village pattern;(5)repairing facilities of ancient trail;(6)renovating architectural style;(7)protecting the village environment;(8)continuation of folk customs.
