Research On Landscape Protection And Renewal Of An Ancient Town On The Grand Canal From The Perspective Of VR Technology

To interpret the value of landscape development in Zhangqiu--an ancient town along the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal,based on it’s advantage of the canal heritage,the Yellow River wetland and the water tourism resource,seek to new ideas and new methods of it’s development to meet the needs of modern life,finally complete it’s landscape transformation,in this paper,the geography and natural environment,historical and cultural environment,streets and building environment,as well as producing and living environment were analyzed.In addition,its own characteristics and advantages were excavated,it’s shortcomings and deficiencies of landscape were studied,combing the policy background and external environment,opportunities and threats to Zhangqiu were also summed up.Based on these studies,the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)The landscape protection and renewal planning system of Zhangqiu Ancient Town has been constructed.The target,the reasonable partition,clear principles,strategies and methods,the integration of culture and tourism had carried on the plan respectively,The methods and strategies for the protection of historical features of streets and alleyways,restoration of canal heritage landscape and continuation of traditional folk culture are proposed,as well as the ecological river course construction of canal culture,show,show town features,smart technology integration application update methods and strategies,and combing with the integrated development measures of ‘two cores,two belts and two regions’,Zhangqiu ancient town will be planned as a compound canal culture and customs tourism town.(2)The development idea of applying virtual reality technology highlights the characteristic landscape of Zhangqiu ancient town.The featured contents are designed,such as reconstruction of ancient pattern,reappearance of magnificent scenery of the canal,restoration of cultural relics and simulation of story situation,the featured display forms are suggested,such as the exhibition museum experience hall,the theme experience hall,the maker base,and the featured functions are proposed,such as the development of roaming,navigation,inquiry and interaction,and put forward the concrete conception of typical and priority project construction of Zhangqiu ancient town.By providing scientific and perfect protection and renewal strategies and measures for the landscape planning of Zhangqiu ancient town on the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal,this paper provides a reference for the protection and renewal of the landscape of cultural and tourism towns.Through the in-depth analysis of the combined application of VR technology and Zhangqiu ancient town,it opens up a new way of thinking for strengthening the interactive experience between people and the ancient town and developing the tourism industry of ancient canal town.A complete planning system and a new method will further promote the formation of the landscape and cultural dissemination of the ancient town.
