| The Grand Canal is not only a great man-made project in ancient China,but also a flowing and living world-class human cultural heritage with profound cultural connotations.In 2019,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the State Council successively issued the "Outline of the Plan for the Protection and Heritage Utilization of the Grand Canal Culture" and the "Construction Program of the Great Wall,Grand Canal and Long March National Cultural Park",which not only marks the formal elevation of the construction of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt to a national This not only marks the construction of the Great Canal Cultural Belt as a national development strategy,but also provides a new historical opportunity for the development of ancient towns along the canal.At the same time,as the core content of cultural tourism,the landscape with cultural connotation has gradually become an important medium to meet people’s needs for a better life.As an ancient town along the Di Tang Canal,the western route of the Jiangnan Canal,Zhenze is not obvious in its cultural connotation,and the constraints on the development of the ancient town are becoming more and more significant.Based on this background,this study attempts to study the canal cultural landscape of Zhenze Ancient Town by taking the canal culture as an entry point and exploring the canal cultural landscape planning strategies of Zhenze Ancient Town from three aspects: transportation landscape,trade landscape and town landscape.The research methods and findings can not only be used to directly guide the planning of the canal cultural landscape in Zhenze ancient town,but also provide reference for similar research and practice,and can be used as a complement to the construction of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt and Cultural Park at the micro level.The study adopts literature review,field research and generalization methods to analyze the historical composition,historical characteristics and historical background of the canal cultural landscape of Zhenze ancient town in Suzhou,summarize the development and evolution of the canal cultural landscape,and conclude that the canal cultural landscape of Zhenze ancient town is the key to distinguish the traditional water town,the foundation of developing leisure and cultural tourism,and the carrier of inheriting and displaying canal culture.At the same time,the problems of the canal cultural landscape in Zhenze ancient town of Suzhou are explained and clarified.The disruption and transformation of canal trade activities and the neglect of canal culture in town development are also important reasons for the formation of the problem.In view of the many shortcomings and development confusions,the planning strategies are explored against the connotation of canal cultural landscape performance characteristics.Based on the analysis of the problems of the canal cultural landscape in Zhenze ancient town of Suzhou,the planning strategy study is carried out in three aspects,namely,transportation landscape,trade landscape and town landscape,starting from the fact that the canal cultural landscape is the support point for the different development of Zhenze ancient town from the general water towns.That is,on the basis of restoring the transport function of the canal,the canal network environment is restored,the busy canal transport scene and the dock trade cargo handling,loading and unloading scene are recreated in a living way,and the canal transport culture is displayed through real slender man performances,experiential activities and a canal transport museum.In terms of trade landscape,the idea is to "revive,restore,and show",that is,on the basis of the restoration of the canal to navigation,to revive the trading activities of products with characteristics of the ancient town,to restore the lost canal trade market by combining the restored old trading houses,teahouses and taverns,and the characteristic fronts,to reproduce the prosperous scene of canal trade,and to show the canal trade culture by using the canal trade related remains and the canal trade museum."inherit,reproduce and protect" as the idea,that is,inherit the inherent architectural layout and street layout of the ancient town,maintain the growth characteristics of the canal,restore and expand the function of shipbuilding and ship repair,inn accommodation and local specialties such as food and other derivative business,to create a prosperous scene of the ancient town,and the inherent buildings and streets of the ancient town,which can reflect the style of the canal The protection of the buildings and alleys that reflect the canal style. |
