Early childhood is the best time for children’s mental development.The role of the environment in the development of children’s minds should not be ignored.The Guidelines for Kindergarten Education require kindergartens to provide a healthy and rich living and activity environment for the healthy development of children’s physical and mental health.Kindergarten as the second home of young children,children in the garden study,life time second only to the family,which requires kindergartens in the indoor and outdoor environment creation,need to be based on the development of children’s minds to carry out scientific and reasonable space design,not only to ensure the safety,effectiveness and practicality of space design,but also to facilitate the development of children’s minds,so that children from the heart like kindergarten,happy to participate in kindergarten day activities,in a good space environment to play,to learn,to practice.Therefore,how to carry out the function reasonable division,color application,material placement,environment arrangement,etc.in the limited space of kindergarten,so that the relationship between kindergarten people,things,space,etc.is closer,can meet the spatial needs of children’s mental development,so that children grow up healthy in the appropriate space environment.With the increasing importance of pre-school education in the whole society and the increasingly high requirements of kindergarten standards for parents of young children,in combing the existing kindergarten space design research results at home and abroad,the use of art design theory,based on the development of children’s mind kindergarten space design analysis and research,not only can help kindergartens to better take young children as the main body,to the physical and mental health development of young children as the need for spatial design,but also to ensure that children living in the garden,learning in an orderly manner,To realize the purpose of pre-school education,therefore,the study of kindergarten space design based on children’s mental development has theoretical and practical significance.This paper takes "Zhiqu" Kindergarten in Guanxian County as an example,takes children’s mental development as the need,uses literature analysis method,field research method,case analysis method,etc.,to explore the needs and design principles of kindergarten space design based on children’s mental development,and carries out kindergarten space design practice based on children’s mental development.Research from the aspects of theory,detailed analysis was carried out on the children’s mental development,has been clear about the importance of kindergarten space environment for children’s mental development,in combing the domestic and foreign existing kindergarten space design research literature,successful solutions at the same time,in order to guan "wit" kindergarten,for example,at a kindergarten space design based on children’s mental development is analyzed,the first is a brief overview of children’s mental development,and then the kindergarten space design demand for children’s mental development were analyzed,and on this basis,put forward based on the mental development of children in kindergarten space design principles,to guan "wit" kindergarten,for example,Carry out design practice of children’s space based on children’s mental development.It provides help for the design of kindergarten space based on children’s mental development,and provides beneficial reference for the better discussion of the design of kindergarten space based on children’s mental development in the future.
