Under the policy guidance of rural revitalization strategy and land spatial planning reform,the vast rural land area is an important guarantee for national ecological security,livelihood security and food security,and is an important part of China’s spatial planning system.Building a comprehensive and systematic understanding of China’s rural development will become an important basis for guiding rural development transformation and spatial reconstruction in the future.In the field of rural planning research in China,there is a relatively lack of research on the system structure and spatial form of village settlements.In summary,the existing literature is reflected in "more research in developed areas,less attention to backward areas;more biased implementation,less excavation rules;More qualitative discussion,less empirical evidence;more focus on individual characteristics,less attention to the overall succession " and other characteristics.This article takes Panyu District of Guangzhou as an example to explore the settlement system of villages and towns,includeing its identification methods,type pedigree,mathematical characteristics and space models.This article is aiming at providing a certain research reference for the construction and development of rural planning.This paper sorts out the relationship between the settlement pattern of villages and towns and urban morphology,landscape ecology,urban planning system as well as other theories,and improves the morphology theory of the settlement system of villages and towns in counties in China.Identify the spatial structure of the village and town system in Panyu District,Guangzhou.On this basis,it constructs the type pedigree of the spatial structure of the village and town system and analyzes the mathematical and physical differences between different types of villages and towns systems.Finally,this article refines and summarizes the space prototypes and development strategies of villages and towns systems in urbanized areas.This article is organized into four parts:Background and literature review(Chapter 1 and Chapter 2)—— Interpret the policy background of rural development research in detail,analyze the theoretical connotation of rural settlement geography,village and town settlement,and village settlement system,systematically summarize individual studies of villages and towns system,including trends and deficiencies of regional village and town settlement research have laid the foundation for theoretical and method innovation.Village and town system identification(Chapter 3)—— Build a digital village and town system identification method,propose to use the spatial structure measurement method to accurately identify the spatial structure of the village and town system,and systematically construct its theoretical framework and identification path.This chapter uses land use data,dynamic traffic information data,socioeconomic statistical data and administrative boundary data to construct four methods: village centrality method,gravity model method,connection break point method,and comprehensive measurement method to identify the spatial structure of the village and town system,and from In the two aspects of network component difference and spatial structure difference,a comparative analysis of the recognition results of the four methods is carried out,and it is found that the recognition results of the comprehensive measurement method are the most accurate.Types of Village and Town System(Chapter 4)—— Based on the hierarchical order,spatial distribution status and network connection pattern of the spatial structure of the village and town system,a spatial structure type lineage of the village and town system is comprehensively constructed.Specifically,the type pedigree is divided into three levels and nine categories.Among them,the hierarchical scale type can be divided into single-level system,two-level system,and three-level system,and the spatial distribution type is divided into cluster,band,and scatter The relationship types are linear network,tree network,mesh network,and star network.Village and Town System Measurement(Chapter 5)—— Based on the core components of the spatial structure,a multi-dimensional measurement analysis is carried out on the spatial structure of the village and town system in Panyu District.,And comprehensively measure the village and town system in Panyu District,Guangzhou City,extract the key mathematical characteristics of the village and town system spatial form,and provide an empirical basis for the construction of the village and town system spatial lineage and digital identification.Village and Town System Model(Chapter 6)—— Based on the identification and analysis of the spatial structure of the village and town system in Panyu District of Guangzhou Sub-core circle layer,agricultural open belt,sub-center circle layer,and transportation and distribution corridor.On this basis,the morphological texture,structural characteristics and formation mechanism of each circle layer are analyzed.
