Research On Renewal Strategy Of Zaozhuang Shidian Special Railway Historic Site Based On Weaving Theory

The railway,as one of the signs of the industrialization era,is a product of modern human civilization.It has witnessed the entire process of mankind’s entry into a modern society,and recorded the progress of modern science and technology development and the changes in urban historical memory and culture.The emergence of railway vehicles has not only expanded the travel range of residents and laid the foundation for the rapid expansion of the city,but also has a subtle impact on the spatial form and functional structure of the city.However,some urban railways have gradually been suspended until abandoned,becoming the "crystallization" of urban memory due to the development of the times and the renewal and transformation of urban functions.This type of railway site carries the historical memory and spirit of the city’s development and changes,and its historical significance and spatial value should be valued by urban research.The urban development of Zaozhuang is closely related to railways.Shiliquan special railway is the special coal transportation railway of Shiliquan Power Plant,which was responsible for the transportation of coal in the southern industrial zone of Zaozhuang in the last century.It was the "lifeline" of southern industry and played an important role in the process of urban industrialization.With the development of the city,the integration of railway space and urban space has intensified,and the city has also been split vertically,resulting in inactivation of space along the railway line and the abandon of Shidian special railway.This article attempts to explore the planning and development strategies of space darning and space reuse aiming at the problem of space inactivation along the railway relics in the old city,using the theory of darning and the space development of the Shidian special railway relics.This article combed and explored the relevant theories and practices of darn theory and railway relics at home and abroad based on the theoretical research of urban renewal and urban darning.We analyze the development results of the current darn theory and the practical application of the railway site protection and renewal plan.The railway element was incorporated into the material element based on the material and non-material elements of the darning theory.The four types of railway element darning methods are summarized as the “full retention,partial retention,construction retention,and offsite restoration or removal”.These results lay a solid theoretical foundation for subsequent reasonable research and judgment on the current situation and development and utilization of railway sites.We combed the historical evolution along the railway site and summarized the whole process of the development and evolution of the origin,prosperity,and decline of the Shidian railway in Zaozhuang,using the methods and means of analyzing urban space problems in the darning theory.The tangible and non-material elements along the Shidian railway site was analyzed and its historical context and spatial environmental characteristics was evaluated.The analysis and evaluation of the potential for the reuse of important buildings along the line will provide a reference for the future development direction and reuse strategy of the railway heritage space.In addition,the renewal empirical research on the Zaozhuang Shidian special railway site was carried out using the theory of darning.The overall darning strategy and goals for the space of the ten power dedicated railway relics was determined,and the five aspects of commemorative tourism,leisure and recreation,creative industries,traffic mitigation and mixed use are regarded as the planning and renewal guidance of railway relics.A detailed darning strategy is proposed for the spatial environment,historical context and important buildings of the railway relics,so that the planning,design and reuse of the railway relics can be integrated and mutually promoted with the development of today’s cities.Our findings play an important role in improving the theory of urban darning.
