In recent years,the growth rate of China’s construction industry has slowed down,the industry overcapacity is more serious,construction labor costs continue to rise,construction industrialization reform has been a development trend.Prefabricated building has the characteristics of high construction efficiency,short construction period,small demand for on-site workers,energy conservation and environmental protection,which is a major change in the construction industry.The relevant departments of the State Council have clearly pointed out that we should vigorously promote the development of prefabricated building,so as to promote the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry.However,due to the standardization and high degree of information technology,assembly building has put forward higher requirements for the comprehensive quality and professional skill level of construction workers.However,at present,the overall educational level and skill quality of migrant workers in the construction industry are still relatively low,which has caused serious constraints to the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry and the sustainable and healthy development.Under the new normal,how to improve the skills and quality of migrant workers in the construction industry to adapt to the future development of the industry has become an urgent problem to be solved.As one of the top 100 cities of comprehensive strength in China and the sub-central city of Guangdong Province,Zhanjiang has witnessed a rapid development of construction industry.The construction scale has been increasing year by year,and the number of migrant workers in construction industry has increased accordingly.However,the problems of project quality and safety as well as the guarantee of migrant workers have also been prone to occur frequently.Although the competent departments of construction industry have done a lot of work on the vocational training of migrant workers,there are still many problems.The main manifestations are as follows: the proportion of migrant workers in the construction industry participating in training is low,the employers are not willing to provide vocational training,the leading role of government departments has not been effectively played,the training content and form are out of step with the actual demand,and the training funds for migrant workers in the construction industry are not guaranteed.Under the new situation and new background,how to strengthen vocational training to improve the professional quality of migrant workers in the construction industry has become a local problem that must be considered and solved at present.This article choose Zhanjiang construction migrant workers as the research object,through to the construction industry department in charge of personnel,construction management and relevant person in charge of enterprises such as interview and questionnaire survey was conducted on the local construction site workers,everyone understand the local construction industry peasant workers vocational training present situation,and to find out the existing problems and causes,Study on the improvement of Zhanjiang city construction migrant workers vocational training countermeasures.This paper consists of seven parts.First,it summarizes the research background,objectives and significance of this paper,and focuses on the definition and theoretical basis of this paper.Secondly,the present situation of vocational training for migrant workers in construction industry in Zhanjiang City is described.Thirdly,the existing problems and causes of vocational training for migrant workers in the local construction industry are analyzed.Firstly,it briefly introduces the vocational training situation of construction workers in advanced cities and its enlightenment.Finally,the paper puts forward some countermeasures,such as improving the top-level design of construction workers’ management,establishing diversified fund investment mechanism,using Internet technology to improve the training effect,and strengthening vocational training supervision,publicity and skill identification.
