Study On The Renewal Design Of Pedestrian System In Old Urban District Under The Concept Of "Urban Double Repair"

China’s urbanization process has entered the middle and late stages,and the urban development model has shifted from incremental expansion to stock tapping.Under this circumstance,urban renewal is used as the main method in the development and construction of urban stock.As the main travel space in the urban stock space,the urban pedestrian system has long carried the travel tasks of urban residents.However,the current pedestrian space in my country is only used as an extension of motor vehicle transportation and public transportation,and lacks integrity and continuity.Walking facilities It is old and occupied by pedestrian space,which does not satisfy residents’ travel requirements well.In recent years,with the improvement of people’s living standards and the emergence of concepts such as healthy travel and green travel,people’s attention to walking space has gradually increased,and the update and transformation of the walking system has been carried out like tea.and its concept can better guide the design and update of urban pedestrian systems.From the perspective of urban repair,the pedestrian system is part of the urban functional system.The repair of the pedestrian system can compensate to a certain extent for the functional defects in the development and construction of the city.From the perspective of ecological restoration,reasonable restoration of the walking system can reduce its interference and damage to the urban ecosystem,and play an important role in stitching green spaces for walking and creating green spaces.Based on the above background,this article takes the pedestrian system in the old city as the research object,and takes the Yuzhong District of Chongqing as an example.Based on relevant data research and field investigation,the paper analyzes and summarizes the functions and ecological aspects of the pedestrian system in the old city at the emergence stage.And try to start from the perspective of “urban double repair”,propose corresponding strategies in urban repair and ecological restoration to guide the renewal design of the urban pedestrian system,and take the project design of the pedestrian system in Chongqing Yuzhong District as an actual project case.To verify the corresponding strategies proposed in.The specific research content mainly includes the following aspects:The article is divided into six chapters.The first chapter describes the research background and research objects,and summarizes the existing related literature,which provides a theoretical basis for the research of the article.The second chapter mainly studies the related theories of the renewal and transformation of old urban areas and the use of people,and selects four typical cases for analysis,and provides reference for the proposal of the pedestrian system renewal design strategy.The third chapter conducts a detailed investigation and analysis with Yuzhong District,Chongqing City as the research object,and summarizes the main problems of the pedestrian system in the old city at the emergence stage: in terms of ecology,there are mainly imperfect pedestrian greenway systems,poor quality of pedestrian green spaces,and ecological Poor protection awareness,messy street greening,and lack of system management are three problems;in terms of functions,there are mainly poor continuity of the pedestrian system,crowded pedestrian space,poor walking environment,Chapter 4 proposes the following design strategies for the renewal of the pedestrian system in the old city from the perspective of "urban double repair".(1)Specific strategies under the guidance of ecological restoration: combining the existing green pedestrian corridors,improving the urban greenway network system,strengthening the quality of street green spaces,increasing the pedestrian green area,and building LID green streets;(2)Specific strategies under the guidance of functional repair: Build a complete pedestrian system-pedestrian units + pedestrian connections,improve walking facilities,improve walking quality,optimize walking space,improve walking environment,build trail culture,and showcase urban style.In Chapter 5,the author tried to verify the strategy proposed in the article through the specific project practice of the pedestrian system project design in Chongqing Yuzhong District.Chapter VI summarizes the main results and shortcomings of the thesis.
