Study On Aging Adaptability Of Zijingshan Park In Zhengzhou City

Population aging has become a hot issue of global concern.Since China entered the aging society,the quality of life of the elderly has become a common concern of all sectors of society.As an important place to carry out outdoor activities for the elderly,the demand characteristics of urban parks should be paid attention to.According to the author’s survey,at the beginning of planning and design,most urban parks in China pay more attention to the design itself,without taking into account the use needs of the elderly.The current activity space,service facilities and plant planting design in parks are not suitable for the elderly.Based on this,this paper takes the urban park as the research object,based on the theory of barrier free design,horticultural therapy and environmental behavior,combined with the unique physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly,explores the design method of urban park for aging.Firstly,this paper summarizes the research status at home and abroad,and defines the research content and research methods.Secondly,the physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly are analyzed.In order to pay more attention to the activity characteristics of the elderly in urban parks,the author studies from five aspects: activity time,activity type,activity space,activity demand and the harm caused by insufficient activities.Based on the interpretation of the excellent aging cases of Biler garden in Chicago Botanical Garden and Wanshou Park in Beijing,as well as the investigation of the aging status of Wuyi Park and Lianhu Park,this paper summarizes the existing problems in the aging design of urban park landscape in China.Based on the excellent cases of urban park aging design and related theoretical research,this paper puts forward the principles and methods of urban park aging design: optimizing the typical aging activity space,improving the barrier free design of aging space,and the supplementary application of horticultural therapy.Finally,the author takes Zijingshan Park in Zhengzhou City as an example.Based on the method of questionnaire survey and field survey,the basic situation,activity characteristics and aging status of the elderly in Zijingshan park were obtained,and the improvement suggestions were put forward.Based on the investigation of the current situation,this paper puts forward the optimization strategy of Zijingshan park from three aspects of activity space,public service facilities and plant landscape.The research value of this paper is reflected in: combining with the relevant theory of aging,this paper puts forward specific design methods for urban parks from three aspects;through questionnaire survey,this paper studies the aging status of Zijingshan Park in Zhengzhou City from multiple perspectives,and applies the proposed design principles and methods in the landscape improvement of the park,so as to provide reference for promoting the aging research and practice of urban parks in the future basis.
