Study On The Poe Of The CBD Park And Zijingshan Park In Zhengzhou City

In this paper, the main objects (people), object target (place), user behavior and detailed design aspects of the CBD of Zhengdong New District and Zijingshan park in Zhengzhou city were investigated to get their's post occupancy evaluation(POE), the result as the following:1. The function of City Park determines its service object as the sameThe CBD of Zhengdong New District was core areas of Zhengdong New Area in this article which Zijingshan park in the heart of the old town, but the service is basically the same object--mainly young adults as students, teachers and staff, and cultural quality of the user was higher. The result showed that the life stress of young was bigger than that of before in the present urban life, so they need a place for exchanging and releasing of pressure.2. The demanding of park workplace design have become increasingly by usersBased on the investigation of the POE of shade tree species and location, space trees, lawns, entrances and other places, we found that the satisfaction of design of Zhengdong New District CBD was higer than that of Zijingshan park. It showed that the requirements of city park design have become more higher with people living leveal increasing.3. The transportation requirements of City Park siteBased on the investigation of distance of coming park, ways of coming park, reasons of coming park, usage behavior in the park and other factors, we found the city park sites should meet the transportation requirements for city people can convenience to use city parks which timely and easy to park and people exchanging or releasing the pressure.4. Humanized design of detail designBased on the investigation of outside the traffic, the number and distribution of seats, trash cans, public toilets and kiosks, we found that the overall detailed design of the two parks with lower satisfaction indicating the infrastructure of two parks can not effectively to meet user needs, and need to further improve the quantity and distribution for meeting the demand of users.5. The design of urban parks wais closely related to the times, the level of economic and cultural and others factorsBased on the POE of the CBD of Zhengdong New District and Zijingshan park, we found that the CBD of Zhengdong New District and Zijingshan park as a typical representative one of the old and new city park in Zhengzhou City, its design guidelines determined by their time, level of economic and cultural. the overall design of the CBD of Zhengdong New District was superior to the level of Zijingshan park to meet the needs of most users; Zijingshan Park, although can not be better to adapt to changes of user demand in the current situation, could also effective in meeting the user needs in its times. Therefore, we thought that the design of the city park should closely related to the times, levels of economic and cultural by the POE of the CBD of Zhengdong New District and Zijingshan park in this paper.
