The maintenance of highway infrastructure is huge,the requirements for road performance continue to increase,and the demand for maintenance is growing rapidly;maintenance funds are difficult to meet the requirements,and preventive maintenance is increasingly being emphasized and promoted.However,the benefit evaluation of preventive maintenance and the evaluation of the implementation effect of maintenance still need to be done the study.Therefore,it is necessary to analyze and evaluate the pavement performance decay law and maintenance effect of the asphalt pavement after adopting preventive maintenance measures,so as to take the maintenance measures accurately and reasonably.This article first conducts investigation and data analysis on the preventive maintenance of road sections in the main national and provincial arterial roads in Shaanxi Province.According to the natural geographical conditions,Shaanxi Province is divided into three regions: Northern Shaanxi,Guanzhong and Southern Shaanxi.The main diseases of the arterial roads in the three areas of southern Shaanxi are cracks,ruts and water damage,and the causes of the diseases are analyzed.The data of representative road sections are processed with gray smooth sequence to facilitate the establishment of the road performance decay model;The characteristics and use effects of common preventive maintenance measures(micro-surface,gravel seal,and refined surface)of Shaanxi’s trunk roads are discussed;PCI and RQI are determined as pavement performance evaluation indicators based on the characteristics of trunk roads.Secondly,it analyzes the influencing factors of pavement performance,and uses MATLAB to determine the sensitivity of different influencing factors based on the theory of gray correlation;SPSS software is used to analyze the correlation degree of representative road section data,and the regression analysis method is used to establish asphalt pavement.Using the performance decay model,the grey prediction model was established by MATLAB software,and the accuracy of the two models was tested.The results showed that the two methods have good prediction results.The prediction results of the regression analysis method and the actual road use conditions were used to study The service life of the preventive maintenance measures for the asphalt pavement of the arterial highway is determined.Finally,in view of the problems in the preventive maintenance of arterial highways,a pavement maintenance effect analysis method based on the use performance decay rate of the pavement is proposed from the perspective of the maintenance effect.The two factors of maintenance benefit and maintenance cost are comprehensively considered,and the benefit cost method is selected to prevent the pavement.The maintenance effect is evaluated,and the road maintenance decision is made through the benefit-cost ratio and the gray matter-element model.The preventive maintenance case of the asphalt pavement of the main highway in northern Shaanxi is analyzed by the benefit-cost method.The results show that the road section that implements preventive maintenance 4 years after the last maintenance time has the best maintenance effect and has a better implementation effect.
