This paper carried out series studies around super-high rise residential buildings with irregular plane using frame-shear wall structure.The paper summarizes relevant theories of frame-shear wall structure,irregular structure,seismic performance-based design and analysis methods for transfinite structure,then use YJK,Etabs,Perform-3D,PBSD softwares to carried series of structural calculation and analysis works :(1)Run calculate tests about shear wall structure and frame-shear wall structure of the transfinite structure respectively,and compared the results.(2)Take a 150.9m irregular plane super high-rise residential project as an example,performance-based seismic design have been proceeded,and seismic performance have been review and evaluate according to the code.Through analysis and research,the following conclusions have been drawn:(1)This type of irregular plane transfinite high-rise residential building is adjusted from shear wall structure to frame-shear wall structure,although the calculated structural dynamic index is slightly inferior to that of shear wall structure,it still can meet the requirements of the code,and the main material cost difference is less than 5%.Considering the utilization of architectural space,the transfinite residential building project will be more advantageous by using frame-shear wall structure.(2)Carry out calculates of the building types that being studied at different heights in frame-shear wall,the results show that with the height increasing from 100 m to 150 m,the period ratio is gradually reduced from more than 1 to 0.89,which means the torsion performance of the structure is improved with the increase of the height,gradually meets the requirements of the specification,the buildings have the condition to achieve super-B height.(3)Through seismic performance design and evaluation,the frame-shear wall structure which at the height of 150.9m,can meet the requirements of the codes in frequently occurred,medium and rare earthquakes calculation.After taking strengthening measures,the performance of the structure which taking frame-shear wall structure form,can meet the setting target well.It is feasible,safe and reliable of this irregular plane high-rise residential structure by using frame-shear wall structure when the height reaches 150.9m.
