Analysis Of Pedestrian Crossing Behavior And Spacing Characteristics Based On Group Behavior

Pedestrian is an important part of traffic participants.With the continuous improvement of China’s urbanization level and the continuous increase of urban population,more and more pedestrian traffic problems are exposed,especially in the scene of pedestrian crossing at signalized intersection.The problems of pedestrian gathering and evacuation,pedestrian vehicle mixing and pedestrian illegal crossing are becoming more and more serious.In order to solve and improve the problem of pedestrian crossing,many experts and scholars have conducted in-depth research on pedestrian crossing,analyzed the behavior characteristics of pedestrian crossing,and established a variety of pedestrian crossing models,but most of the research is from the perspective of individual pedestrian,without considering the behavior characteristics of pedestrian group.Therefore,based on the idea of group behavior,this paper studies the characteristics of pedestrian crossing behavior from the perspective of pedestrian crossing group.In this paper,in the selected data acquisition time,data acquisition location and area,using UAV aerial signal intersection pedestrian crossing video as the research object,using tracker professional video processing software and data analysis software to obtain and process pedestrian crossing data.This paper studies the statistical analysis law of pedestrian spacing in groups,analyzes the relationship between pedestrian spacing and pedestrian space demand,and evaluates the service level of pedestrian crossing groups.This paper studies the variation characteristics of pedestrian spacing in different periods and different behaviors.Secondly,the behavior characteristics of pedestrian crossing group are analyzed step by step from three aspects of pedestrian crossing group centroid,average distance and contour.This paper studies the statistical law and variation characteristics of the mass center velocity and trajectory of pedestrian crossing groups.This paper studies the statistical characteristics and variation rules of the average spacing of pedestrian crossing groups.This paper studies the statistics and variation of pedestrian group contour parameters.Finally,according to the statistical rules and variation characteristics obtained from the above research,the model of pedestrian crossing group average spacing and pedestrian crossing group contour is established by using regression analysis method.Based on the idea of group behavior,the model describes the pedestrian crossing behavior more practically,which provides important theoretical support for the further research of pedestrian crossing simulation in the future.
