The construction industry is facing challenges and is in the period of transforming its development mode.In order to speed up the transformation of the industry,intelligent construction policies have been issued one after another.The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development also proposed to promote the integrated development of information technology and the construction industry,pointing out the direction for the future development of the construction industry.As one of the most important information technologies in the construction industry,BIM technology should be promoted and applied to the construction industry to help the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry.However,the actual adoption rates of BIM technology is far lower than expected,so the importance of studying the adoption willingness of BIM technology in construction enterprises is self-evident.In this paper,the development status and policies of BIM technology were firstly analyzed.Considering that there are internal and external factors affecting the adoption intention of BIM technology in construction enterprises,the theoretical model needed to be adopted was analyzed,and the BIM technology adoption model was constructed according to the technology acceptance model and strategy-technology-organization-peopleenvironment framework theory.Secondly,based on the method of structural equation modeling,the relationship between internal and external influencing factors of BIM technology adoption in construction enterprises is discussed.According to the verified influence path,the paper puts forward targeted policy suggestions on the adoption of BIM technology in the construction industry.The results show that: on the one hand,the government makes BIM technology-related policy planning,and the construction enterprise makes BIM commitment by making BIM development plan;Different BIM software can exchange data with each other,so that all project participants can adapt to the BIM process quickly.Construction enterprises with BIM technical talents,BIM knowledge and other resources will make the construction enterprises feel that the process of adopting BIM technology is relatively easy,so as to generate the willingness to adopt BIM technology.On the other hand,the acceptance tendency of relevant practitioners of construction enterprises to BIM technology,or the competitive pressure exerted by construction enterprises upon the adoption of BIM technology by their peers around them,will make the construction enterprises feel that the adoption of BIM technology is useful for them,thus generating the willingness to adopt BIM technology.It can be concluded from the research results that in order to promote the adoption and adoption rate of BIM technology in China’s construction industry,it is also necessary to consider from five dimensions of strategy,technology,organization,personnel and environment.Through the study on the adoption willingness of BIM technology in construction enterprises,this paper provides reference opinions for the government to introduce policies and measures that are more in line with the actual problems,provides a reference scheme for the industry to strengthen the exchange and cooperation of BIM technology among construction enterprises,and provides reference preparation measures for the adoption of BIM technology in construction enterprises.
