Traditional academy,as the carrier of social education and ideological and cultural dissemination in ancient Chinese society,have witnessed the development of cultural education in my country for more than 1,000 years.Since the Tang Dynasty,there have been more than 7,000 academies in the past.However,there are fewer and fewer academies left today,and the trend of accelerated demise of academies has become more and more obvious.For a long time,academic research on academies has mostly focused on historical evolution,system investigation,form analysis,cultural associations,etc.,with fruitful results,but the protection and reuse of heritage of traditional academy of academies has yet to be expanded.Furthermore,there is a lack of systematic cognition of the value of the heritage of traditional academies.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive analysis of its material,spiritual and social elements from a holistic perspective to provide a theoretical basis for the protection and reuse of academy.Therefore,from the perspective of space heritage,this article uses the theoretical advantages of space heritage in the understanding,practice and method to study the protection and reuse of traditional academy in Hunan and Guangdong provinces.The full text can be divided into four parts:First of all,starting from theory,it discusses the heritage characteristics of traditional academy,extracts relevant spatial elements,and analyzes the cultural information carried by traditional academies from three aspects: material heritage elements,spiritual value elements,and social environment elements.It discusses the value carried by the academy space as a heritage,and sums up the heritage characteristics of the traditional academy space,namely: relevance,evolution,and comprehensiveness,which provide a basis for the analysis and evaluation of the protection and reuse status of the following article.Furthermore,through field investigation and literature research,it explains the basic situation of the traditional academies in Hunan and Guangdong,such as the number,distribution,and cultural relic protection levels.On this basis,the classification was carried out in the way of reuse,and the selection principle was clarified,and a total of 8cases were selected for detailed analysis.Through history background,reuse organization and implementation,spatial environment evolution,functional layout evolution,architectural protection and renovation and other levels of analysis,the status quo of protection and reuse is initially obtained.Based on the case study,the current situation of traditional academies in Hunan and Guangdong is divided into two aspects: protection and reuse due to the different operating focus in actual work.The analysis of the protection status is guided by the source of value,analyzing from the three levels of spatial environment,architecture,and space spirit,and evaluating some objects to summarizes the existing problems Discuss the problem of reuse.Categorize and discuss the current situation of reuse in the way of utilization,and analyze each type of spatial reconstruction method.Taking the largest number of display and utilization academies and the comprehensive utilization academies with the best protection status as examples,the relationship between reuse and space value is discussed.Finally,based on the problems and differences in the protection and reuse of traditional academies in Hunan and Guangdong,the influencing factors are attributed to four aspects: macro-control,economic factors,implementation and operation,and subject consciousness.From a holistic perspective,combined with domestic and foreign cultural heritage protection cases and working methods,it puts forward optimization suggestions for the overall protection of physical space,the live protection of spiritual space,and the diversified protection of social space.The full text discusses the heritage value of the traditional academy space,from the perspective of space heritage,analyzes the protection and reuse status of the traditional academies in Hunan and Guangdong from the three levels of material space,spiritual space and social space.Then guided by value recognition,summarize the existing problems to provide corresponding optimization suggestions.It is hoped that in the protection and reuse of traditional academy,value is the purpose and the continuity of the literary style is used as the driving force to build a holistic,lively,and pluralistic protection framework and methods.
