Research On Renewal Environment Design Of Community Public Green Space ——Taking The Rick Roberts Way Community In London As An Example

From the 20th century to the early 21st century,the process of urbanization has been accelerating,and people’s living standards have also been improved,accompanied by the increasing demand for the quality of life.However,Sustained investment in recent years has curbed the historic decline of urban public spaces,especially parks.People are using public green space with increasing frequency,and they are paying more and more attention to the impact of this use on their health and happiness.Urban residents also have higher expectations for the surrounding ecological environment of the residential community.Therefore,the research on the environmental renewal design of community public green space is important.This article will take the Rick Roberts Way community in London,UK as a case study.Firstly,this dissertation makes an understanding of the research background of environmental renewal design of community public green space and analyzes it from the research purpose and concept definition.Secondly,the research on community public green space and environmental renewal design at home and abroad is sorted out and analyzed,and the literature closely related to the research of this topic is reviewed.Through analysis,it can be found that the focus of foreign scholars’ research is the relationship between community environment,residents’ health and social inequality,and most domestic scholars conduct research and analysis based on the relationship between different groups and the needs of community public green space.Based on environmental psychology,behavior science and sustainable development theory,this dissertation studies the behavior characteristics and influencing factors of community residents,as well as the ecological environment of community.And through the analysis of 5 typical cases,summed up the common characteristics,in order to meet the needs of all age use environment,shaping the characteristic landscape.Thirdly,analyze the current situation of the site,summarize the existing problems,put forward the value and necessity of environmental renewal design,and summarize the design strategies and artistic treatment methods of environmental renewal design principles.On this basis,the dissertation takes the public green space of the Rick Roberts Way community in London as an example,analyzes the project overview and design creation concepts and positioning,and carries out targeted designs for different districts in the site,which improves the community ecology and natural environment.The vitality and cohesion of the community was rejuvenated,and meaningful exploration was carried out in the design.At the end of the dissertation,the design highlights and the full text are summarized and prospected,the shortcomings of the research are summarized,and the future development direction of the research in this field is analyzed.It is hoped that the research on the renewal design of the public green space in the community environment can provide a certain reference and reference for the related research in the future.
