Concrete plates-expanded pile is a new type of variable cross-section pile developed recently.It mainly sets up bearing expanded plate on the foundation of ordinary concrete cast-in-place pile by special equipment,and then changes the stress mode of ordinary concrete cast-in-place pile.Concrete plates-expanded pile has the advantages of wide application range,high bearing capacity and good economic benefits,which has attracted the attention of scholars at home and abroad and has a good development prospect.The research on concrete plates-expanded pile has made some progress so far.However,most of them assume that the concrete plates-expanded pile is a rigid pile.The research on the concrete plates-expanded pile in the vertical and horizontal directions does not consider the elastic deformation of the pile in actual engineering.Therefore,this paper mainly focuses on the influence of the slope angle on the flexible concrete plates-expanded pile under horizontal load.The flexible pile refers to the rigid and semi-rigid piles which are mainly overturned when the diameter of the pile is small and the concrete plates-expanded pile is subjected to horizontal load,and the pile body is bent and deformed,resulting in large pile top displacement.Taking slope angle as the control variable,the flexible concrete plates-expanded pile under horizontal load is analyzed by two different methods——small scale model test and ANSYS.In terms of experiments,according to the visual small scale model,the pile-soil state of flexible concrete pile under horizontal load is photographed and recorded.Through recording and analysis,it is concluded that the flexible concrete plates-expanded pile has two different phenomena — — bending and overturning under the action of horizontal load.When the slope angle increases continuously,the greater the load applied,the better the bearing capacity under the condition of controlling the displacement of the top of the pile.The finite element simulation analysis part mainly simulates the flexible concrete plates-expanded pile by ANSYS.According to the analysis of displacement and stress nephogram and various curves after simulation,the bearing plate plays an important role in resisting horizontal load.With the increase of the slope angle,the horizontal bearing capacity of the concrete plates-expanded pile is also continuously improved,but the improvement range is small.Considering the economic benefits and horizontal bearing capacity,the best slope angle of the flexible concrete plates-expanded pile is determined.By comparing the test results with the simulation results,the accuracy of the simulation results is verified,and the calculation mode of flexible concrete plates-expanded pile is determined according to the slip line theory and linear elastic body deformation principle.This paper studies the influence of the slope angle on the flexible concrete plates-expanded pile under horizontal load,analyzes the failure state and horizontal bearing capacity of the soil around the pile,improves the design theory of the concrete plates-expanded pile,and provides a reliable theoretical basis for the application of the concrete plates-expanded pile in practical engineering.
