The concrete plates-expanded pile(the CEP pile)is a new type of pile foundation,it is characterized by high bearing capacity,strong anti-capsizing ability,small settlement amount,simple construction process,wide applicable pile technology,strong adaptability,and many other advantages.It can make full use of engineering geological conditions,shorten pile length when the bearing capacity is reached,save construction material consumption and realize better social value,so it has a better development prospect.At present,overseas and domestic scholars have developed more mature researches on the influence state of the CEP pile under vertical load,but the researches on the influence state of the CEP pile under horizontal load is relatively less,in current researches,the research content is more focused on the analysis of the stress characteristics of pile body,less focused on the failure behavior of soil surrounding the pile,and when the stiffness of the CEP pile is large enough,the failure behavior of soil surrounding the pile will ultimately determine the calculation method of its horizontal bearing capacity;In the theoretical researches on the influence factors of horizontal bearing capacity of the CEP pile,more of these are about the factor of plate position,the study on other factors such as plate spacing,plate slope angle,plate number,plate diameter and plate section type is less,and also lack the relevant experimental study.In the only few literatures on the study of platespacing,the finite element software is the most commonly used to simulate the analysis,but the failure behavior of soil surrounding the pile is not accurately determined.In this paper,the main parameter variable is the bearing plate-expanded spacing,by using the ANSYS finite element software,to proceed the numerical simulation,analyze the relationship of the horizontal displacement of pile top,the bending moment of pile body and the stress of soil surrounding the pile between different plate spacing model piles under horizontal load,determine the influence of the factor of plate spacing on the horizontal bearing capacity of the CEP pile;Meanwhile,according to the pile-soil construction model in ANSYS finite element simulation,design and carry out the experimental study of undisturbed soil and small half-section model pile,monitor the whole process of pile-soil interaction between different plate spacing models,directly observe and analysis the horizontal displacement of pile top with load change trend and the failure behavior of soil surrounding the pile,verify the conclusion of ANSYS finite element simulation,further determine the influence of plate spacing on the horizontal bearing capacity of the CEP pile.Through the study of this paper,it is possible to qualitatively determine the failure characteristics and impact of the the plate spacing value on the horizontal bearing capacity of the CEP pile under horizontal load,improve the design theory foundation of the CEP pile,provide reference for further study of this type pile,and it is beneficial to the promotion and application of this pile in future practical engineering.
