Urumqi is an important node on the new silk road,and landscape is an important carrier of city culture.It is of great significance to improve the landscape of urumqi.Before garden designer for the design of the urban green space are mostly from the Angle of the design affect visual result analysis,this article from the reverse Angle consideration,through all kinds of green space after the completion of maintenance problems,this paper discusses late due to design thoughtless,the difficulty of maintenance,to the present urban green space design more scientific countermeasures are put forward.On the basis of summarizing the development process of the methods to reduce the maintenance cost of urban green space at home and abroad,and combining with the current maintenance and management status,33 cases of green space in urumqi were investigated.In order to select the most suiTab plant growth conditions in urumqi,the historical weather of urumqi was analyzed and summarized.In order to select plant materials suiTab for urumqi city,ahp,field investigation,questionnaire survey and expert interview were used to summarize plant materials in urumqi city.Summary of urumqi the present design methods to solve the problem of maintenance and management on the most outstanding 48 class.In order to solve the problem in the future,through the compari son of five types of green space maintenance and management expenses in urumqi city,this paper points out the different types of green space maintenance in urumqi city.In order to solve the problem selectively and directionally,the priority of solving the problem is obtained by cluster analysis and questionnaire survey.Article 32 the solution strategy for 48 class problem.In order to make the data can be directly applied to the current landscape design institute to form a reference basis,the paper adopts the method of showing the plant plan by hand drawing to discuss the problems existing in the design methods of plant configuration in the past,and points out the configuration methods that can be applied to reduce the cost.Finally,a scientific strategy of plant planting design can be applied to urumqi city to reduce the maintenance cost.The main conclusions are as follows:(1).Selection of the best growth conditions for plants:the ratio of sunny days in urumqi was significantly higher than that of snow days and rainy days,and residents spent a long time out,interacting with the landscape,and the outdoor landscape needed to be improved urgently.(2).Appropriate plant materials selection:summary of urumqi leaves can be used in the landscape construction of 108 kinds of plants,25 species of evergreen tree species.Most evergreen plants need to be considered when choosing an application.Native plants is given priority to is an important approach to solve the plant late choice to reduce costs.(3).Problem solving strategy:The clustering results show that the 48 problems are divided into 4 groups,among which the first and second problems are the most numerous and the easiest to be solved in reality.The third and fourth types of problems are difficult to maintain in the late stage.(4).In the method of plant configuration,multiple unequilateral triangles formed by plants are combined to form a cluster of five plants,which is the most powerful method of plant configuration to reduce the cost.In the case of resource shortage,the water saving cost can be reduced by setting microtopography combined with plant configuration.(5).The design of near natural plants under the guidance of human is an important way to solve the low cost maintenance of green space.
