Application And Research Of Concurrent Engineering In Automobile R&D Process Of G Company

With the rapid and high-quality healthy development of China’s economy,people’sliving standard has been improved day by day,among which automobile products have gradually changed from luxuries in the past to necessities of life at present,in 2020,China’s automobile inventory reached 0.281 billion.The automobile industry has also become an important growth point of the global market economy,and is also an important part of the economic and technological competition of various countries.At present,in order to win in the fierce market competition and remain invincibl-e,all automobile enterprises have to shorten the development cycle of new products and speed up the updating and iteration of product lines.However,if the development of new car models is still carried out through the traditional development process,it obviously cannot meet the competitive needs of the current market.In order to shorten the development cycle and improve the quality of product development,most automobile enterprises have begun to introduce the concept of SE Concurrent Enginee-ring development,but not every enterprise can succeed as long as it introduces SE sequence engineering,because SE Concurrent Engineering is a complex development sy-stem,which requires the determination of senior leaders,the unified understanding of all employees and the support of mature process system,etc.Otherwise,only slogans will appear,without content,it became a face-saving project.G Company is a well-known national automobile brand company with a history of more than20 years and a mature product development system.In order to develop new products with better quality,lower cost control and better performance in a shorter development cycle,the company began to introduce SE concurrent engineering development concept in 2008,and remarkable results have been achieved in the development of new car models.However,due to the imperfect SE Concurrent Engineering system and the uneven understanding of parallel engineering by researchers,SE Concurrent Engineering still f-ails to play its maximum effect and value.This paper aims to summarize the application of SE concurrent engineering in the research and development process of G Co-mpany’s new automobile products,analyze the existing problems and deficiencies,bas-ed on many years of automobile development experience and theoretical knowledge of SE parallel engineering,the advantages of SE Concurrent Engineering are analyzed by comprehensively comparing the traditional serial development process with SE Co-ncurrent Engineering,and combined with their own practical development experience,put forward personal ideas and suggestions,in order to provide some reference for the research and development management of new car of Chinese automobile brands,Make due contributions to the development of national automobile industry.
